    摘要: A heat-generating element of a heating device for heating air including at least one PTC element, electric strip conductors lying on the PTC elements and a longish positioning frame that forms at least one frame opening for holding the minimum of one PTC element. A heat-generating element that is improved with a view to safety from electric flashovers and leakage currents is created with the invention under consideration by providing at least one insulating layer, which covers the strip conductor on its exterior side that is turned away from the positioning frame. The insulating layer in any case is sealed against the long sides of the positioning frame by a compressible sealing bead. A heating device for heating air with multiple heat-generating elements is also disclosed.

A grid arrangement covers the respective frame apertures in the housing and reinforces the housing. First struts of the grid arrangement, extending at right angles with respect to the layers, are assigned to the housing, and second struts extending parallel with respect to the layers are defined by the heating block. Moreover, a heat generating element of an electric heater, comprises a position frame made of an insulating material and defining receptacles arranged side by side each for at least one PTC heating element. The receptacles are arranged between conductor paths against which the PTC heating elements are placed in an electrically conductive manner.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an electric heating device, comprising a housing in which a heating block is held with the pretensioning force of at least one spring element located approximately at the same level as the heating block in its post assembly position and which defines opposite housing apertures between which the heating block is exposed, wherein the heating block is introduced into a housing part and the heating block is enclosed in the housing by another housing part. The spring element is brought into its assembled position and pretensioned when the housing is being closed to enclose the heating block. The present invention further relates to an electric heating device which can be employed in the method according to the invention and which can be relatively easily manufactured by injection molding.

A housing accommodates the layer structure as well as contact lugs for the connection of the auxiliary heater to a power source. For providing the best possible and simplist connection to a power source via a plug element, and with regard to the economical manufacture of the auxiliary heater, the contact lugs are formed by stamped sheet metal pieces which are electrically connected to selected printed conductors.

The circulation chamber has inlet openings and outlet openings for introducing and removing, respectively, the medium. The heating element is preferably a PTC heating element and is held by means of a clamping force in a recess formed by the separating wall, said recess preferably projecting into the circulation chamber. The invention furthermore relates to a recuperator for converting electrical energy into thermal energy, particularly for an electric drive in a vehicle.
