摘要： A handle for attachment to a bail member of a bucket is disclosed. The handle includes a base formed from two interlocking members, a first member frictionally engages a second member, locking the two members together without tools. Upon the interlocking of the first member and second member, a base structure is formed providing a receptacle constructed in a range for receipt of the bail member along an upper section. A centrally disposed cavity may be included in the upper section for receipt of a tubular sleeve commonly found on buckets and employing bail members for carrying heavy weights. The base structure is positioned beneath the bail member wherein a portion of the bail member is insertable into the receptacle. A cover member is secured to the top section of the base structure to conceal the receptacle and secure the bail member within the handle.

摘要： A process for releasably attaching a tool handle to a tool head includes the steps of (1) inserting an end of the tool handle into the tool head through a tool head aperture, (2) turning the end of the tool handle relative to the tool head to engage a pair of lands therein which prevent withdrawal of the end of the tool handle from the tool head, and (3) threading a nut onto the tool handle so as to engage a portion of the tool head adjacent to the aperture. The process is accomplished by providing the handle a connecting stud at one end thereof, wherein the connecting stud includes a pair of oppositely disposed flanges which extend generally perpendicularly outwardly therefrom. The tool head has a central cavity into which the connecting stud is inserted through the aperture. The pair of lands are capable of selectively engaging the connecting stud flanges to prevent withdrawal of the connecting stud from the tool head. The nut is threadable onto the connecting stud and has a face for engaging a portion of the tool head adjacent to the aperture to prevent movement of the connecting stud relative to the tool head and to thereby releasably secure the tool head to the handle.

摘要： An adaptor for quickly connecting and releasing a T-shaped bar which holds a mop head and a mop handle to form a complete mop for use. The T-shaped bar has a horizontal base portion and a vertical threaded portion. The horizontal base portion is adapted to the mop head, while the vertical threaded portion is adapted to the adaptor. A mop handle or stick is then adapted to the rear of the adaptor. The adaptor has a spring biased pawl which is pivotally mounted thereon, such that when the tip of the pawl is engaged with the vertical threaded portion of the T-shaped bar by the spring, it locks the movement of the adaptor. However, by simply rotating the adaptor, the adaptor will be further threaded on the vertical threaded portion of the T-shaped bar to precisely adjust the tightness of the adaptor to the T-shaped bar. When the pawl is pressed against the spring, an individual can quickly release the adaptor from the vertical portion of the T-shaped bar, which in turn releases the mop head.
