摘要： A document presentation folder is formed from a base sheet of stiff material and a front cover. The front cover is formed with an exposed outer sheet of a nonopaque material and an inner sheet that forms a pocket with the outer sheet. The base sheet is folded in articulated fashion to define a spine demarcation and a narrow front cover attachment strip which has an attachment edge. One side of the outer front cover sheet is positioned against and overlaps the portion of the front cover attachment strip immediately adjacent thereto. The outer cover sheet and the front cover attachment strip of the base sheet are attached together by a single, continuous linear heat seal. A title sheet is removably inserted into the pocket defined between the inner and outer sheets of the front cover. A printed indicia on the face of the title sheet is thereby clearly visible through the nonopaque outer sheet of the front cover. The title sheet may be changed at will providing the document binder with a user-selected title or other indicia of contents. The size of the pocket is configured to snugly receive a standard eight and a half by eleven inch sheet of paper as a title sheet.

摘要： This invention relates to a file structure in which the inclination angle thereof is adjustable. The structure comprises (a) an inner covering board having a rear center; (b) an outer covering board mounted to the upper section of the inner covering board at one surface thereof and a scored line being formed across the outer covering board so that the outer covering board can be inclined at an angle with respect to the inner covering board, the bottom edge of the outer covering board being provided with a plurality of fixing holes; (c) a pair of chains having a stop at both ends and one of the stops being fastened to the lower section of the inner covering board and the other stop being mounted to the fixing holes at the lower section of the outer covering board, thereby when the outer covering board is extended with an inclination angle, the chain is touted by the weight of the file and the file is stood in a stable inclined position.

摘要： An apparatus for supporting a book or magazine for reading includes a bottom member and a top member. The top member is elevated at one end above the bottom member and is adapted to pivot from a first closed position for reading into a second open position for turning the pages. At least a portion of the top member is transparent to permit viewing of printed matter through the top member, which is adapted to press upon the book or magazine when it is disposed in the first position. A lip is attached to the bottom member and is used to further retain the book or magazine in position. A receiving member is optionally attached to a back of the bottom member and is used to attach either a leg or a handle thereto.

摘要： A document holder includes a casing and a lid for covering an opening of the casing. A quick-release device includes a strap engaging member fixed on the lid to define a strap engagement space with an entrance for access thereinto. A non-elastic strap has a fixing section fixed to the lid, a pulling section, and a middle section which spans a distal free end of the strap engaging member. A stop member prevents movement of the pulling section into the strap engagement space. An elastic strap is mounted on the casing, and is elastically stretchable to pull the lid to a closed position. Under this condition, the elastic strap passes through the strap engaging member and pulls the middle section into the strap engagement space such that the middle section defines an inverted U-shaped portion that straddles over a portion of the elastic strap in the strap engagement space and a U-shaped portion that inversely straddles over the distal free end of the strap engaging member.

摘要： A three ring binder includes a spine, front cover and back cover, each of which includes a substantially solid base plate and an outer plastic shell. The spine and front cover each includes a rectangular picture frame, the outer edges of which are aligned with and welded to the bottom and side edges of the spine and cover. A clear plastic membrane is secured to the frame's interior covering the opening in the picture frame. The frame top edges are spaced inwardly and free of the shell to form insert pockets. Display inserts are slidably mounted within the insert pockets defined by the frames. The spine insert includes an upper folded edge, and includes an outer pin head. Pulling upwardly on the pin head withdraws the insert. Mount-mats of a semi-solid paper are provided in the pockets to receive thin, flexible paper for insertion into the frame pockets. The inserted mat holds the display material with the insert pocket. The frame may be of thin flexible opaque plastic sheet material less than 0.020 inch thick.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a sheet holder comprising a spine having at least first, second, third, and fourth panels attached in series by first, second, and third hinges, respectively. The panels and hinges are configured and associated such that the spine has a folded position in which the first and second panels are opposed to each other and define a stack space therebetween dimensioned to receive a stack. In this folded position, the third panel is folded over the second panel, and the fourth panel is folded over the first panel. The panels are associated such that a binding fastener is positionable through the first panel, the stack in the stack space, and the second panel. The fastener portions of the binding fastener are disposed between the second and third panels and between the first and fourth panels such that the third and fourth panels cover the fastener portions. A spine closure fastener associated with the first and fourth covers in the folded position to cover the fastener from view. The present invention is also directed to a method of holding at least one sheet within the sheet holder. A stack of sheets is insertable between the first panel and the second panel, forming an inner spine portion. Mechanical fasteners are driving through the inner spine portion to secure the stack of sheets. Once the stack of sheets is secured within the sheet holder with the mechanical fastener, the third and fourth panel are folded over the stack of sheets atop the second panel to abut the first panel. The fourth panel is secured to the first panel to cover the fastener from view.

摘要： The invention provides a binder or portfolio for carrying looseleaf paper, books, school supplies, etc. wherein said binder includes an expandable gusset attached to the front and back covers of the binder. The covers of the binder are foldably attached to a central spine and the gusset is split into two sections running along the periphery of the inner sides of the covers. The gusset is provided with a means for releasable attachment such that when the front cover of the binder is folded over the back cover of the binder, the two sections of the gusset may be attached to one another, thereby securing the contents of the binder inside. Preferably, the gusset is made from an elastic material such as neoprene and the releasable means of attachment is a zipper-type closure. This construction of the gusset from an expandable material allows oversized objects such as larger textbooks to be placed in the binder without damaging the structural integrity of the gusset and the binder when the binder is fastened shut. An embodiment is disclosed wherein the covers are provided with a window also substantially formed from an elastic material, further increasing the expandability of the binder. Means for securing such a gusset to a binder are also provided, specifically a means for biasing the gusset outward of the binder so that the gusset does not interfere with the insertion of items into the binder. This outward biasing of the gusset also facilitates the securing of the two portions of the gusset by the releasable closure means.
