    摘要: A self-locking parcel delivery apparatus and method includes a tamper-resistant compartment beneath a lid of a porch bench seat and insulated for protecting delivered parcels. The apparatus includes a lid that is held open magnetically until proactively released to close and lock (such as by a delivery person) or by a remote user via a primary software application running on a mobile communications device. The apparatus may be operated in conjunction or cooperation with a supplemental software application associated with a video motion detection system so that a remote user can authenticate a supposed delivery person and then, using another software app, activate a remote delivery container to be made ready to receive a delivered parcel.

    摘要: A roof support system includes a support member configured to be mounted between a roof panel and a frame of an enclosure. The support member is movable to an extended position that supports the roof panel in an open position. A cam lock mechanism is operatively connected to the support member for releasably locking the support member in the extended position. In the extended position, a pin of the support member is received within a slot of the cam lock mechanism such that engagement of the pin with a closed end of the slot prevents the support member from moving from the extended position toward a retracted position. The cam lock mechanism includes a cam configured to rotate to a locking position that at least partially blocks an open end of the slot such that the pin of the support member is prevented from backing out of the slot.

    摘要: A check and release mechanism for holding a door in a desired opened position against the force of a closing cylinder includes an operator rod moved with the door which rod has a latch element pivotally mounted to one side of the rod and is moved along a guide slot in a mechanism case, by opening movement of the door into an enlarged engagement chamber, and the leading end of the latch element engages a first fixed feature therein at the approximate location where it is desired to hold the door open. That engagement causes a slight tilting of the latch element and stops further opening advance of the door and operating rod. A slight retraction of the door and the operating rod caused a trailing end of the tilted latch element to engage a second fixed feature in the chamber which causes the latch element to tilt further in the same direction preventing further closing movement of the door. The engagement of the latch element with the second fixed feature is released by manually moving the door back in the opening direction, causing one side of the tilted latch element to engage the first fixed feature to tilt the latch element further, and upon release the door again moves in the closing direction and the opposite side of the latch element then contacts the second fixed feature be pivoted so as to again be in alignment with the guide slot, allowing the door to close with the latch element advancing down the guide slot.

    摘要: A supporting mechanism and a sorting machine having the same are provided. The supporting mechanism includes a supporting body. An annular sliding slot is formed on a section of surface of the supporting body. A U-shaped clamping slot is provided in a ring of the annular sliding slot. A one-way deflecting locating valve plate is provided at the position of an opening of the U-shaped clamping slot and configured to close the annular sliding slot, and the locating valve plate is provided with a reset force configured to ensure a tendency of the locating valve plate to close the annular sliding slot. A deflecting angle of the locating valve plate ensures that a free end of the locating valve plate deflects from one side to another side of the opening of the U-shaped clamping slot. The supporting mechanism has a simple operation and a high efficiency.

    摘要: A slide track (6) interacts with a slide (8) arranged on a connecting rod (7), the slide track being arranged on one of the elements (1, 2, 3) and the connecting rod being articulated on the other element. As a result, two positions of the elements are determinable with respect to each other, one of them being defined by a catch. The slide track (6) has an elongated guide track (12) and a flexible strip (11). The catch is designed as a catch recess (9), which is located at the one end of the guide track (12). The other end of the guide track (12) forms with the flexible strip (11) a slit which can be varied in its width by elastic deformation of the strip (11), brought about by the slide (8). The guide track is preferably designed as a rising surface (12), which together with a lower strip (13) forms a clasp-shaped central part (14). An elongated basic strip runs under the guide track ( 12) and also the catch recess (9) to an outlet from the element. The catch recess (9) is bounded by a first, straight hook, which together with a second, curved hook forms a passage through which the slide (8) can go onto the basic strip (21). The outlet is located in a covering strip of the slide track (6), from which the second hook bends off.

    摘要: A telescopic support arm includes an outside arm and an inside arm which are designed to slide freely each other, the outside arm having a slot and an abutting piece inside thereof, and the inside arm having a slot and rotatable stopping piece inside thereof. The stopping piece is rotated by the engagement with the end portions of the slots and the abutting piece so as to be projected out of or sink into the slots, and by its rotation the outside arm and the inside arm are free to slide each other in both the extending and contracting directions. The stopping piece is provided with a buffer mechanism which comprises a holding piece of the stopping piece, a spring for pulling the holding piece in the contracting direction of the telescopic support arm, and a slot for slidably supporting a support shaft of the stopping piece. A rack with a tooth part is disposed in the outside arm along its longitudinal direction, while a locking piece with a pawl part is provided in the inside arm. While the support arm expands, the pawl part engages with each tooth of the tooth part one by one, so that the length of the support arm may be adjusted by arresting the pawl part at a desired position.
