摘要： A retaining clip comprising a U-shaped body having a pair of legs that are flexibly connected at their bottom ends and spaced apart to receive therebetween a blade fastener is herein disclosed. Each of the legs of the retaining clip has a head projection that extends laterally from its top end and a cooperating pair of detent structures, each extending laterally from the exterior surface of the respective legs at a predetermined distance below the head projections. Retaining tabs are disposed within and extend inwardly from respective tab apertures formed through each of the legs. These retaining tabs are inclined toward the bottom ends of the legs and are constructed and arranged to easily allow a blade fastener to be inserted therebetween and to subsequently engage the blade fastener to securely retain the blade fastener within the retaining clip. The retaining tabs are constructed and arranged to oppose any forces that would tend to withdraw the blade fastener from the retaining clip substantially in compression.

The grommet includes a flange portion and a leg portion capable of being opened, in which an insertion hole is formed from the center of the flange portion to the inner portion of the leg portion, and an engagement nail is formed at the inner surface of the leg portion. The pin includes a head portion and a shaft portion to be inserted into the insertion hole, in which an engagement surface and a lock surface each engaging with the engagement nails are formed at the shaft portion. In the jointed and fixed state of panel members, when an unexpected external force is applied to the tip end of the shaft portion of the pin, the engagement nail engages with the lock surface of the pin.

The channels define sections. The split region has inwardly tapered inner walls. A plug is configured for engagement with the sleeve at the split region. A bolt having a threaded portion and a through-bore extending longitudinally therethrough, is configured for threaded engagement with the sleeve threaded region. A setting member is configured for insertion into the bolt bore. The setting member engages the plug top surface and a force exerted on the setting member drives the plug into the sleeve split region so as to urge the split region sections axially outwardly. A method for securing the anchor in the opening in the structure is also disclosed.

摘要： The present invention provides a tacking rivet for fastening work pieces together which have aligned apertures therethrough. The tacking rivet includes a head portion and an elongated sleeve portion extending from the head portion. Both the head portion and the sleeve portion have openings therethrough which are in alignment with one another. The tacking rivet further includes a plurality of rib portions positioned on an outer surface of the sleeve portion which are capable of engaging with walls of the apertures of the work pieces when the sleeve portion is expanded within the apertures of the work pieces. Because the rib portions engage with the walls of the apertures of the work pieces, the tacking rivet will not rotate within the apertures during a drilling operation to remove the tacking rivet from the apertures prior to the installation of a permanent fastener to fasten the work pieces together.

摘要： The invention relates to an expansible anchor (10) for anchoring in a cylindrical drilled hole (40). The invention proposes constructing the expansible anchor (10) with a tubular basic anchor part (12), on which a hollow conical expansion portion (22) is formed by means of a forming procedure, on which expansion portion (22) an expansion sleeve (14) bent out of sheet metal is mounted. As a result of axial displacement of the expansion sleeve (14) on the expansion portion (22), the expansible anchor (10) becomes anchored in the drilled hole (40). The expansible anchor (10) exhibits subsequent expansion behaviour in the event of widening of the drilled hole (40), for example as a consequence of crack formation.
