摘要： A ruggedized holder has a base unit that accepts a roll of target media. The base unit includes a first side plate and a second side plate that opposes the first side plate. Moreover, a lower deflector plate having a front facing surface extends between the first side plate and the second side plate. Also, the base unit includes an upper deflector plate that extends between the first side plate and the second side plate above the lower deflector plate. The first side plate, the second side plate, the lower deflector plate and the upper deflector plate define an enclosure that protects the roll of target media. In addition, a stand can couple to the base unit.

摘要： A system for projecting an image of a target is provided. In one embodiment, the system comprises a rail having a longitudinal axis; a target carrier coupled to the rail such that the target carrier can translate along the longitudinal axis of the rail; a motor and motion controller coupled to the target carrier wherein the motor is configured to cause the target carrier to translate along the longitudinal axis of the rail; a projector carrier coupled to the rail and held in fixed relational position to the target carrier; and a projector affixed to the projector carrier and oriented to point back towards the target carrier. In some embodiments, one or more cameras may also be added to the target carrier, projector carrier, or both.

摘要： A pneumatically-driven shooting target apparatus that can transition between presented and concealed positions and can be used in a variety of shooting environments. The shooting target apparatus generally includes a frame, a movable target holder, a pneumatic drive mechanism attached to the movable target holder, and a target assembly. According to one embodiment, activation of the drive mechanism rotates a target between a horizontal concealed position which is hidden from the shooter, and a vertical presented position that is visible to the shooter. In another embodiment, activation of the drive mechanism causes an obstruction that is concealing the target to rotate out of the way, at the same time that the target is lifted and presented to the shooter.

摘要： An automated indoor pistol range target carrier has an overhead power rail along which a target-supporting, -lighting and -rotating carriage travels toward and away from the firing line. The carriage supports, rotates, repositions and lights the target and is controlled by and feeds back information as to the target's position to a central controller. Portions of the power rail are electrically insulated one from the other and function as bus bars to carry d.c. current used to operate motors and circuits in the trolley without using electrical cables. Electrical pickups in the form of wheeled trolleys wipe the bus bars to supply power to motors and lights to operate the various target carrier systems. All system components are located within the carriage which may easily be removed from the rail for service without requiring the disconnection of any power cords or cables.
