摘要： A combination casket and casket display comprises a reduced height casket shell adapted to receive the remains of a deceased and having a pair of side walls, a pair of end walls, and a bottom wall, the side walls and end walls having lower edges, the bottom wall extending below the lower edges of the side walls and end walls, a casket lid closable on the reduced height casket shell, and a casket display base having a pair of side walls and a pair of end walls, the side walls and end walls having upper edges. The reduced height casket shell is supported by the casket display base such that the lower edges of the side walls and end walls of the reduced height casket shell are at about the same height as the upper edges of the side walls and end walls of the casket display base, and the bottom wall of the reduced height casket shell extends below the upper edges of the side walls and end walls of the casket display base so as to nest within the casket display base. A combined height of the reduced height casket shell and display base is about equal to a height of a conventional height casket shell.

摘要： A casket shell assembly and method provide for covering an economical or plain casket with a reusable decorative shell. The assembly includes a casket and a shell. The shell has a perimeter wall, an open top, and an open bottom. The shell receives the casket through the open top. A lip coupled to the perimeter wall of the shell supports the casket when the casket is inserted into the shell. A lid is coupled to the perimeter wall selectively covering the open top of the shell when the lid is in a closed position. A plurality of straps is positioned in the shell extending between the shell and the casket. Each of the straps has opposite free ends extendable through the open top of the shell for facilitating lifting of the casket from the shell.

摘要： Enclosed is a design for a modular casket that is assembled without the use of tools. The sides of the caskets adhere to the bottom of the casket through an array of magnets that is actuated only after proper alignment. Once assembled, movement of the side panels as a result of any lateral force is retarded by the magnetic force and through the use of dowels connecting the panels near the top of the side panels.

摘要： A cremation urn display has a floor, a top, and a perimeter sidewall. A viewable portion on the top or sidewall includes fasteners upon which a memorial display is surface mounted. The display includes a mounted butterfly fixed in a container having a viewable display panel. No recess need be formed in the top or sidewall to accommodate mounting of the display. The display is removable from the urn, and contains a sealable capsule for retaining a portion of cremated remains.
