摘要: An apparatus for removing the husk from grain, in particular as a laboratory or small-scale grain kernel peeler, and for producing dehusked grain seeds, has a peeler including a first disk and a second disk movable relative to the first disk and drivable about a vertical axis. The disks enclose, between main faces made of a temperature-stable and elastic material, a working space fillable with grain from the side opposite the second disk through a central first disk filling opening. By rotating the second disk, the kernel and husk can be separated by a radial movement along the disks so that kernel and husk leave the peeler on its outer circumference via an outlet which opens via a chute into a collecting bin, the chute having a lateral air inlet supplied with an air stream so that the husks leave the chute laterally in front of the collecting bin.

摘要: A husking apparatus for cereals comprises a pair of rolls provided parallel to each other with a clearance therebetween, and an inclined guide chute situated above the rolls. The guide chute slides down cereal grains between the rolls, and the rolls rotate in opposite directions, respectively, to nip and shell the cereal grains therebetween. The guide chute and the rolls are located so that a guide surface of the guide chute is substantially perpendicular to a line connecting the centers of rotational shafts, and that an extension line from the guide surface passes within a range of .+-.10 mm on both sides of a middle point of the clearance between the first and second rolls. The guide surface of the guide chute has such an inclination that the cereal grains spread all over a width of the guide surface in the substantially single layer of a band-like shape and are accelerated up to a speed less than peripheral speeds of the rolls while they slide down along the guide surface. The cereal grains are thus uniformly fed between the rolls in regular postures and have less irregular reflection due to collision with the rolls, and it is possible to perform reliable husking which causes less broken grains.

摘要: A machine for cleaning and polishing grains comprises at least one treatment chamber which includes an upper frusto conical baffle having a central opening to admit grains thereinto, an intermediate rotatory disc to impart movement to the grains falling thereon through said opening and a lower frusto conical baffle having a central opening to discharge the grains, said upper frusto conical baffle having a stationary brush and a stationary set of flexible fingers vertically hanging therefrom, and said rotatory disc having a rotatory brush and a rotatory set of flexible fingers hanging from its lower surface in a direction and to a distance suitable to confront the upper surface of said lower frusto conical baffle, whereby the grains are cleaned by the action of said stationary brush and set of fingers on the moving grains driven by the rotatory disc, and by the action of said rotatory brush and set of fingers on the grains sliding down said lower frusto conical baffle.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pulse polishing machine. In one embodiment, the machine includes a base frame having protruded vertical supports at longitudinal ends and a rotor assembly placed between the vertical supports through a drive shaft. Rotor assembly having plurality of rotary disks mounted at the ends and centre of the drive shaft and a circular cam assembly fixed on the rotary disks. Further, a sheet basket assembly having plurality of circular shaped segments surrounds the rotor assembly defines the polishing chamber. An inlet means and an outlet means are positioned on the sheet basket assembly at diagonally opposite ends. Segments of split covers are used to cover the polishing chamber from either ends. And the ends of the polishing chamber are covered by a pair of split covers. An electric motor is connected to one end of the drive shaft to impart rotary motion to the rotor assembly for polishing pulses.
