Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of computer vision configured for person classification, comprising receiving, during a first period of time, a plurality of image frames of an environment, identifying images of persons from each frame of the plurality of image frames, and determining a respective vector representation of each of the images. The implementations include generating a probability distribution indicative of a likelihood of a particular vector representation appearing in the plurality of image frames and identifying an associate vector representation by sampling the probability distribution using a probability model. The implementations include determining an input vector representation of an input image identified in an image frame depicting a person and received during a second period of time. The implementations include comparing the input vector representation with the associate vector representation and classifying, based on the comparison, the person in the input image as an associate.

In some embodiments, hand tracking technology is used in a unique way to detect collisions with a virtual object to result in naturally appearing physical exam maneuvers to simulate the physical examination (e.g., auscultation, percussion, palpation stages of a physical examination) of the simulated patient.

Abstract: In a person tracking system, a calculation processing means performs processing for detecting a first person from an image, and calculates a first feature vector representing a feature of the detected first person. A data transmission processing means acquires a hash value corresponding to a key generated based on information relating to the first feature vector, and stores feature data including the first feature vector and the key in a storage area of an external device determined based on the acquired hash value. A determination processing means determines whether or not the first person represented by the first feature vector included in the feature data read from the external device and a second person registered in advance are the same person. A tracking processing means tracks the first person as a tracking target, when it is determined that the first person and the second person are the same person.

The location information may be provided in various forms such as in the form of an audio signal (a beeping sound produced by a beeper, for example), a visual indication (a light source illuminating the electrical power outlet, for example) an audible instruction (navigation assistance provided via a speaker, for example), a graphical indication (navigation assistance via a personal device), and/or a text message (navigation assistance via a personal device).

Abstract: A method for detecting a finger is provided. The method includes obtaining a plurality of digital images including a first digital image captured by a camera from a field of view containing a background and a hand including at least one finger, and obtaining an identification of pixels of the plurality of digital images that correspond to at least one finger that is visible in the plurality of digital images rather than to the background, the pixels being identified by: obtaining, from the digital images, a Gaussian brightness falloff pattern indicative of at least one finger, identifying an axis of the at least one finger based on the obtained Gaussian brightness falloff pattern indicative of the at least one finger without identifying edges of the at least one finger, and identifying the pixels that correspond to the at least one finger based on the identified axis.
