    Abstract: A fixing device includes a heating roller, a pressing roller, a heating part, a heat insulating member and a bearing. The pressing roller holds a sheet with the heating roller. The heating part heats the heating roller. The heat insulating member is fitted on an end portion in an axial direction of the heating roller, has a heat-resistance to heat applied from the heating roller and has an inclined shape in which an outer diameter becomes small toward an inside in the axial direction of the heating roller. The bearing supports the heating roller through the heat insulating member.

    Abstract: A developing device includes a developing container having a first stirring chamber and a second stirring chamber that are arranged in juxtaposition with each other and a developer carrier that carries toner in the second stirring chamber. The developing container includes a duct, an air suction port, a first filter, and a second filter. The duct is arranged adjacently to the second stirring chamber and allows air in the second stirring chamber to flow out to an exterior. The air suction port is open along a longitudinal direction of the second stirring chamber and allows communication between inside the second stirring chamber and inside the duct. The first filter covers the air suction port. The second filter is arranged on a downstream side of the first filter in an air circulation direction in the duct and covers an air circulation path in the duct.

    Abstract: A conveyance device includes a conveyance roller, a registration roller, a sensor, a mode setting part, a storage, a conveyance state determination part and a drive control part. The mode setting part sets the mode to either a plain paper mode or a tab paper mode. The storage stores threshold information corresponding to the mode. The conveyance state determination part determines, when the plain paper mode is set, whether the conveyance state of the recording medium is a skew conveyance state or a tab paper conveyance state, based on the detection result of the sensor and the plain paper mode threshold information. The conveyance state determination part determines, when the tab paper mode is set, whether the conveyance state of the recording medium is the skew conveyance state or the tab paper conveyance state, based on the detection result of the sensor and the tab paper mode threshold information.

    Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a plurality of nozzles, a pressurizing element, a driver, a controller and a control circuit. The pressurizing element is provided for each of the nozzles. The driver drives the pressurizing elements. The controller generates image data indicating whether ink is ejected for each of the nozzles. The control circuit transmits ejection waveform data indicating a signal transmitted to the pressurizing element and the image data. After printing according to the image data transmitted to the driver is completed, in a non-printing state in which there is no image data to be subsequently printed, the control circuit transmits at least one of the image data indicating a blank sheet and the ejection waveform data in which the ink is not ejected, to the driver.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a confirmer, a response receiver, and a controller. The confirmer causes the image forming device to stand by, without starting production of a printed material, upon deciding that a print request has been sent from a remote location distant from the image forming apparatus, and transmits, through a network I/F, a request for final confirmation just before starting, about whether the production of the printed material may be started, to a user of a terminal device that transmitted the print request. The response receiver receives a response to the final confirmation, from the terminal device owned by the user. The controller causes the image forming device to start the production of the printed material, upon deciding that the response from the user received by the response receiver indicates permission to start the production of the printed material.

    Abstract: A sheet discharge device includes a sheet discharge portion, a sheet loading portion, and a stopper mechanism.     Abstract: A printing system for processing entries in a distributed ledger manages documents or transactions based on printing or scanning operations. A computing platform within the system receives a first entry having a variable set of data. The computing platform determines a partial chain hash of the first entry using the variable set of data. The computing platform generates at least one additional entry having at least one additional variable set of data. The computing platform updates the partial chain hash with the at least one additional variable set of data of the at least one additional entry. The computing platform generates a block having a block header for a blockchain using the partial chain hash when a condition is met. The block includes transactions or documents to be printed at a printing device using the distributed ledger.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of heaters, a switch portion, and first and second supply lines. The heaters heat a toner image. The switch portion is connected to an alternating-current power source, and opens and closes in a manner interlocked with the opening and closing of a cover. The first supply line connects the respective one ends of the heaters to the switch portion. The second supply line connects the respective other ends of the heaters to the switch portion. The second supply line has a branch portion. The respective other ends of the heaters are each connected to one of branch lines which are electric wires that branch off from the branch portion. The switch portion is disposed between the branch portion and the alternating-current power source.
