    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information indicating a first set of open-loop power control parameters associated with a first control resource set (CORESET) pool index value and a second set of open-loop power control parameters associated with a second CORESET pool index value. The UE may receive, via a first CORESET, a first downlink control information (DCI) message that schedules a first physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) message. The UE may transmit the first PUSCH message using a transmit power level, based on the first set of open-loop power control parameters or the second set of open-loop power control parameters, based on a CORESET pool index value associated with the first CORESET.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for managing random access channel (RACH) procedures in wireless communication systems. In some examples, a UE includes a processor, a transceiver communicatively coupled to the processor and configured to communicate with a scheduling entity in the wireless communication network, and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The processor is configured to receive a signal from a base station at the beginning of a fixed frame period during a two-step random access procedure, determine whether a resource for a transmission occasion overlaps one or more symbols located at an edge of the fixed frame period, and discard the resource for the transmission occasion at the UE when the resource overlaps the one or more symbols located at the edge of the fixed frame period.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support determination of an uplink beam for uplink transmissions. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with multiple sets of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources that may be used for uplink transmissions from the UE. In some cases, each set of SRS resources may be configured with one associated channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource, and each CSI-RS resource may correspond to an uplink beam. The base station may transmit a downlink control message to the UE, indicating one or more selected SRS resource sets and one or more selected SRS resources within each of the one or more selected SRS resource sets. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission with a beam associated with the indicated SRS resource set.
