Abstract:
A handle applied in bathroom and fixed on the wall. The handle is composed of a handhold pipe, a garnering rack, several supporting rods and covers, a middle positioning body and two side positioning bodies. The handle pipe is a hollow tube and holes sit at the middle and both ends respectively to match with middle positioning body, end positioning bodies and supporting rack tube holes separately. All holes will be bolted and be positioned; the other end will be bound to the positioning piece fixed on the wall and covered by cover which located on the supporting rack. Both ends of the garnering rack will be inserted into the hollow tubes of the end positioning bodies to be positioned and assembled. Hence, the whole assembling processes provide an easy, convenient, quick and time-saving effect and complete the purpose of fastness and safety to prevent loosen and fallen off.
Abstract:
A device for anchoring a towel bar, ring or hook to a supporting surface and for shielding the supporting surface from wet towel damage. The device includes a plate upon which the towel bar, ring or hook is mounted such that the plate extends a distance equal to or longer than one-half of a towel length below the towel bar, ring or hook. Fasteners are provided for attaching the towel bar, ring or hook to the plate and the plate to the supporting surface.
Abstract:
The invention focuses on method and apparatus for simply attaching various building elements to a surface (which may be finished) in a manner where the connection is preferably substantially hidden after attachment. Applications include the erection of enclosures and partitions in bathrooms, showers and wet areas. As many of the members are hollow and route services, preferred embodiments allow for the passage of, and/or connection to, services such as plumbing from within the surface to which the element is attached and to within the member itself. Certain methods and apparatuses comprise interacting cam and engaging portions allowing the element to be attached to the cam portion, once it has been secured in place, in a simple action, such as that typical of bayonet type connections.
Abstract:
An illuminated rod standoff has a base with a recessed surface mountable to a wall, and an axially positioned fastener oriented normal to the recessed surface. The fastener engages a cap which centers a cylindrical sidewall resting on the recessed surface within a close-fitting peripheral edge. The cap closes an open end of the sidewall and provides, at mutual right angles, a pair of cap engagement features, one fixed to the fastener, thereby holding the cap securely to the cylindrical sidewall and the cylindrical sidewall to the base. The other feature receives a towel or tissue rod. A lamp is mounted on the base for transmitting light through the transparent cylindrical sidewall for illuminating a space.
Abstract:
Provided is a toothbrush holder having a body with spoon-shaped cavities. The cavities optionally are lined with rubber material to conform to the shape of a toothbrush. Rubber grommets are utilized to hold the toothbrush in the cavity. A mounting plate attaches to a wall or other surface and the body removably attaches to the mounting plate. In an alternate embodiment, the grommets are replaced with rubber coated stainless steel rods. The cavity partially covers the toothbrush, allows easy access to light and air, can be easily used with one hand, and mounts closely to the wall.
Abstract:
A handrail and bracket assembly includes a pair of brackets having two off-set channels that permit the hand rail to be positioned in an expanded or in-use position or a collapsed or stowed position. At least one mounting opening is provided in each bracket for securing it to a wall or other surface. The channels and openings are positioned such that the brackets can be attached to the handrail prior to attaching the brackets to a wall or other surface.
Abstract:
A fitting includes a stem extending in an axial direction and having a threaded surface adapted to be screwed into an upright wall. An annular head portion is connected to the stem, and has an abutting surface wall proximate to the stem and extending in a transverse direction relative to the axial direction for abutting against the upright wall when the stem is fixed in the upright wall. A cylindrical anchored member extends from the head portion in the axial direction away from the stem, and has a distal end distal to the abutting surface wall. A holding member includes an anchoring portion which is elongated in the axial direction to be sleeved on and to cover the anchored member, and a holding portion which is formed integrally with the anchoring portion for holding a support member. A fastening member is disposed to fix the anchoring portion relative to the anchored member by tightening along a radial direction relative to the axial direction.
Abstract:
An attachment for a shower valve assembly provides at least one secure handhold. It may optionally also provide at least one hook for a washcloth, a soap dish and/or a bottle holder for holding items used while showering. The attachment includes a broad base plate that is fastened to the shower valve assembly by screw fasteners in a manner similar to the usual face plate that covers the hole in the wall behind which rests the valve assembly. The handhold and other accessories are securely attached to the base plate. Because the valve assembly is held securely in place by the three or four pipes to which it is attached, all forces on the handhold are transmitted to the pipes, thus ensuring a very firm and secure connection. The attachment is easily mounted with only a screwdriver and no special skills. The original face plate may be mounted over the base plate before the control knob is installed, or the base plate may be constructed to also serve the covering function of the face plate.
Abstract:
A grab assembly includes a grab bar and a mounting flange for each end of the grab bar. Each mounting flange has an annular projection. The ends of the grab bar extend into and are secured to the projections. An annular cover is sleeved over the projection of each mounting flange to conceal the flange with a tight fit so that there is no gap. The invention is also applicable to a center support for the grab bar.
Abstract:
A wall mounted fixture includes a post and a wall plate, at least one of which has, in a preferred embodiment, a tab to engage the slot of the other to resist rotation between the wall plate and post. A large central bolt securely fastens the wall plate to the post. A flange may be snap fit to cover the wall plate.
