    Abstract: A positioning control apparatus is provided, which includes: an acquisition unit that acquires predictive ephemeris data from outside of the positioning control apparatus; a setup unit that sets up, based on a predetermined condition different from an expiration date that has been set up in the predictive ephemeris data, a switching condition as to whether the predictive ephemeris data acquired by way of the acquisition unit should be used for positioning calculation to calculate location information that indicates a current location of the positioning control apparatus; and a control unit that switches, based on the switching condition that has been set up by way of the setup unit, whether the predictive ephemeris data should be used for the positioning calculation.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device includes a wireless communicator that wirelessly communicates with other wireless communication device, and a processor. The processor controls the wireless communicator to broadcast first transmission information on which data with a first maximum size is deliverable, and controls, upon the wireless communicator receiving a request in response to the first transmission information from the other wireless communication device that received the first transmission information, the wireless communicator to transmit second transmission information on which data with a second maximum size is deliverable to the other wireless communication device. The second maximum size is larger than the first maximum size.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal controller is provided for a liquid crystal panel having a plurality of pixels, each of which includes a memory element and a display element. The memory element is configured to hold electric potential depending on an image signal and is configured to change the held electric potential based on activation of an enable signal. The display element is configured to be applied voltage depending on the electric potential which the memory element holds. The liquid crystal controller is configured to: hold off outputting the enable signal, for a period th before polarity of AC voltage applied to the display element is inverted and a period (tr+ts) after the polarity of the AC voltage is inverted; and hold off inversion of the polarity of the AC voltage, for an output period of the enable signal and the period th after the output period.

    Abstract: A tray locking mechanism includes a tray on which a sheet is disposed, a moving head that processes the sheet that is disposed on the tray as the moving head moves along the sheet, a tray locker that locks the movement of the tray, and a housing that houses the tray and includes a retainer. The tray locker includes a retaining claw that locks the movement of the tray by locking to the retainer. While the moving head is positioned at a position away from a stand-by position, the retaining claw is locked to the retainer as a result of the moving head separating from the tray locker, and while the moving head is positioned at the stand-by position, the retaining claw is disengaged from the retainer as a result of the moving head pushing the tray locker.
