    Abstract: An authentication method for authenticating an electronic ticket stored in a portable information device by an authentication apparatus, including a step of acquiring, by the portable information device, shared information that is sharable with the authentication apparatus when authentication of the electronic ticket is performed, a step of generating, by the portable information device, a bar code based on the acquired shared information and the electronic ticket, a step of displaying the bar code by the portable information device, a step of reading, by the authentication apparatus, the electronic ticket and the shared information from the bar code displayed on the portable information device, and a step of performing, by the authentication apparatus, the authentication of the electronic ticket by making a comparison between contents of the shared information read from the bar code together with the electronic ticket and shared information in the authentication apparatus.

    Abstract: An image edit apparatus designates not only moving objects based on sequential images at the time intervals initially designated by the user, but also moving object, which was shot at shorter time intervals than the initially designated time intervals and corresponds to a freely selected position designated by the user on the locus (trajectory) of the moving objects as analysis targets of the moving objects. Thus, from the continuously shot sequential images/moving image acquired by shooting a moving object, the user designates an image at a freely selected part which is not a part of the regular time intervals, and can utilize the image for analyzing the moving object.

    Abstract: A tray locking mechanism includes a tray on which a sheet is disposed, a moving head that processes the sheet that is disposed on the tray as the moving head moves along the sheet, a tray locker that locks the movement of the tray, and a housing that houses the tray and includes a retainer. The tray locker includes a retaining claw that locks the movement of the tray by locking to the retainer. While the moving head is positioned at a position away from a stand-by position, the retaining claw is locked to the retainer as a result of the moving head separating from the tray locker, and while the moving head is positioned at the stand-by position, the retaining claw is disengaged from the retainer as a result of the moving head pushing the tray locker.

    Abstract: A device case includes speaker boxes that are formed inside spaces created by placing upper cases that have a larger external shape than a lower case on upper of that lower case, as well as box connectors that are arranged fitting into the speaker boxes in the upper cases so as to contact the ends of peripheral portions of the lower case and fix together the lower case and the upper cases. This makes it possible for the box connectors to seal the spaces between the peripheral portions of the lower case and the peripheral portions of the upper cases. This, in turn, makes it possible to reliably and satisfactorily seal the speaker boxes in an airtight manner even when the external shapes of the lower case and the upper cases that are stacked together are different.
