    Abstract: An isolator, the isolator comprising an isolator comprising a lower isolator post and an upper isolator post; an isolator compression disk configured to be secured to the upper isolator post; and at least three gaskets configured to be retained, in use, between an upper face of the isolator and a lower face of the isolator compression disk, wherein the lower isolator post, in use, is configured to be affixed to a first apparatus, wherein the upper isolator post is configured to be inserted through an aperture of a second apparatus, wherein the isolator compression disk is configured to retain the second apparatus against the isolator, and wherein the at least three gaskets are configured to prevent any direct contact between the isolator and the second apparatus.

    Abstract: A mid-wave infrared (MWIR) discrete zoom lens for use with remote surveillance and identification having a dual focal length of 9 and 6.39 inches and F #2.8 and F #2, respectively. In one case, a full field of view is about 30.8 degrees for a 9 inch focal length configuration and about 43 degrees for a 6.39 inch focal length configuration. The lens is corrected for monochromatic and chromatic aberrations over the wavelength range 5100 nm-3300 nm. The focal plane may constitute a pixel array consisting of MWIR sensitive material (e.g. InSb, HgCdTe, nBn, SLS, etc.) for use in high-resolution, wide-area imaging applications.

    Abstract: The system and method of a dual mode semi active laser seeker and imaging system using pulse detection and angle determination as applied to quad detectors to properly identify a correct designator spot. The angle performance is driven by the field of view of the imaging system. The imaging system resolution provides the required angle accuracy for guidance as cued by pulse detection apertures. The imaging system eliminates the need to designate until impact thus eliminating exposure to counter fire against the designator. The elimination of designation until impact also opens up the opportunity rapid engagement of multiple targets from a single designator.

    Abstract: Systems for detecting a presence of a microbolometer are provided. The systems may also discriminate a type of the microbolometer. The systems may comprise analog filtering and processing or digital filtering and processing. In some examples, both analog and digital filtering may be used. For example, a system may comprises a photodiode, an analog to digital converter (ADC) having a frequency sampling rate of at least two times an expected frequency range of known microbolometers and a processor. The ADC may receive an amplified output from the photodiode and produce a sampled sequence using the frequency sampling rate. The processor converts the sampled sequence into a frequency profile, examines the frequency profile to identity at least a fundamental frequency and determines whether a microbolometer is detected in a line of sight of the photodiode based on the fundamental frequency.

    Abstract: A process for securely processing a search query for homomorphically encrypted search results is provided. The process includes receiving a search query from a requesting device, the search query including a request for encrypted data stored in a data store operably coupled to the one or more processors. The process further includes executing a search function to access a set of search results from the data store, the search results including homomorphically encrypted information, and determining, based upon the search query, a transmission encryption technique for secure transmission of the search results to the requesting device. The search results can be additionally encrypted using the transmission encryption technique to generate an additionally encrypted search response that includes the homomorphically encrypted information. The process can further include causing transmission of the additionally encrypted search response to the requesting device.

    Abstract: A narrow band antenna is configured to guide a munition toward a target location during a flight of the munition from a launch location toward the target location. The antenna has a first mode of operation operable during a first portion of the flight at a first bandwidth, and a second mode of operation operable during a second portion of the flight at a second bandwidth, the second bandwidth being a harmonic of the first bandwidth, and may be a third harmonic of the first bandwidth. The method includes transmitting a target location information to the munition in the first bandwidth during the first portion of the flight and then transmitting the target location information to the munition in the second bandwidth during the second portion of the flight. The first band may be X-band and the second band may be Ka-band.
