    Abstract: The drive device includes a guide element defining a guide track, the guide element being configured to receive and guide a cuvettes strip in translation along the guide track, and a drive belt configured to displace the cuvettes strip in translation along the guide track when the cuvettes strip is received in the guide element. The drive belt is disposed below the guide track and is configured to cooperate with lower portions of the cuvettes of the cuvettes strip when the cuvettes strip is received in the guide element.

The pin includes: a monolithic top section; a monolithic bottom section; and a middle section comprising a plurality of spaced apart sub-pins extending between the top section and the bottom section, wherein the plurality of sub-pins define one or more windows for allowing fluid flow through the middle section.     Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include lighting assemblies and methods of using the same that leverage auto-shading laminates to support a common cavity for mixed lighting applications. An exemplary vehicle includes a lighting assembly having a common cavity. The common cavity includes an outer lens coated with an auto-shading film, a primary light source positioned behind the outer lens, a secondary light source positioned on an edge of the outer lens, and a wire embedded in the auto-shading film. The auto-shading film includes discrete substructures which vary in alignment in response to an electric field, thereby varying a transmittance through the outer lens. A controller is electrically coupled to the wire. The controller is configured to direct a switching voltage to a switch to change a state of the switch, thereby causing the wire to deliver the electric field to the discrete substructures to change the transmittance of the auto-shading film.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include a door control system with tip-to-close functionality for use in doors having a power assist function. An exemplary door control system can include an actuator configured to open and close a power-assist door and a sensor configured to measure a velocity of the power-assist door. The door control system can further include a servo-assist module (SAM) communicatively coupled to the actuator and the sensor. The SAM can be configured to initiate a tip-to-close function of the power-assist door responsive to door velocity measurements from the sensor and a natural deceleration rate of the power-assist door caused by actuator dampening.

    Abstract: A movement detection system for a passenger in the present invention includes: a first Bluetooth module (150) mounted in an elevator landing area; and a movement prediction unit (270) configured to predict, based on Bluetooth movement data, that a movement of a passenger in the elevator landing area is a normal movement or an abnormal movement. The movement detection system and a movement detection method in the present invention can automatically detect an abnormal movement of a passenger, and are especially applicable to an elevator system that completes an elevator call operation without an input operation.

    Abstract: Provided is a hub type driving device applicable to an electric bicycle of a throttle mode, a PAS mode, and a throttle and PAS combination mode, and an electric bicycle using same. The hub type driving device comprises: a housing having an accommodation space therein; a support shaft for penetrating to pass through the housing and of which both ends are fixed to a fork of the electric bicycle; first and second bearings for rotatably supporting the housing around the support shaft; an electric motor for generating a rotational force rotated around the support shaft; a derailleur for decelerating the rotational force of the electric motor; and a clutch for selectively transmitting an output of the derailleur to the housing. The derailleur is formed of a planetary gear device of a sun gear input, a carrier fixation, and a ring gear output mode.
