摘要： An exterior trim assembly for use with a window or door surround in a building structure comprises at least one mantle for affixing above the window or door, and first and second pilaster assemblies for affixing on the sides of the window or door. The mantle comprises a mantle base and a corresponding mantle cover to affix to and cover the mantle base. Each pilaster assembly comprises a base and a cover element affixed to the base wherein each of the bases has a plurality of regularly repeating reinforced structural sections. At least two pilaster cover plates are provided, each pilaster cover plate is affixed to and covering one of the first and second pilaster bases.

摘要： A bending brake assembly for manually bending pieces of sheet metal material including a base supporting a plurality of c-shaped members presenting opposing clamping surfaces for receiving the sheet metal material. An extension extends away from the clamping surfaces with a socket connection rotatably supporting a bending member on the base for bending the sheet metal material disposed between the clamping surfaces. The socket connection includes a male portion and a female portion in sliding engagement with one another as the bending member moves between a pre-bending position, a first operating position, and a second operating position. A finger extends from the male portion and defines a gap between the finger and the extension when in the pre-bending position with the finger maintaining the gap as the finger moves from the pre-bending position to the first operating position and the finger engaging the extension when in the second operating position.

摘要： The plastic foundation vent embodying the invention comprises a plastic body with an integral peripheral rectangular wall surrounding the plastic body and defining opposed long sides and opposed short sides, an integral peripheral flange extends outwardly from the peripheral wall. A central integral screen portion having openings for bending and prevention of entry of animals and the like is provided within the peripheral wall. The peripheral flange has a front surface and a rear surface. A first groove is provided on the rear surface of one of the flanges alongside to define a live hinge line permitting the flange to be bent backwardly and forwardly. A second groove on the front surface of the flange on each of the short sides permits bending of the flange along the short sides, A third groove on the front surface of the flange along the short sides permits bending of the short sides about a second live hinge, cutting lines ace provided at right angles on the flange having live hinge to permit corners of the flange to be cut for use in replacement of a foundation vent.

摘要： A roof vent comprising a one-piece plastic body including a base wall with air guiding vanes to ventilate the interior of a building. A plurality of spaced intermediate transverse supports are provided along the central longitudinal axis of the plastic body. The intermediate supports are adapted to facilitate folding at the center of the vent to maintain a straight line bend and to provide support for the central portion of the vent to improve stiffness and appearance. The supports overlap to accommodate different roof angles. Additionally, the roof vent has a tongue and groove arrangement on the end walls at each end for an interlocking connection to an adjacent roof vent. One embodiment of the roof vent is adapted for use on a hip roof. In this embodiment, a separate wall is used to deflect entry of snow or rain. The supports have notches to accommodate the separate wall. Furthermore, drain openings are provided in the vanes and the end walls to allow moisture to escape and cross-walls are also provided to prevent moisture from flowing along the inside surface of the roof vent.
