摘要： A frame device (12) for securely holding and hanging banners (14) and the like from buildings and surfaces. The frame has a base portion (16) which is attached to the building or surface and a spring loaded rotating cover portion (18) which covers a channel (52) in the base. A plurality of inner slidingly adjustable hook members (60) and a pair of outer clip lock members (80) positioned in the channel hold the banner in place. The banner has a plurality of mating holes or apertures (74) along one edge and hangs from the hook and lock members in the frame device. Once the banner is positioned on the hooks, the cover portion is closed securely retaining the banner in place.

摘要： An improved warning sign and sign stand assembly is disclosed and includes apparatus for attaching and retaining the sign to a stand member of the assembly. The various embodiments of the assembly also include various mechanisms for permitting the sign panel to pivot or swing under side-directed loads in order to allow a resilient portion of the stand base to deflect generally along a predetermined plane, thereby substantially preventing the sign and stand assembly from tipping over. The various embodiments are applicable in sign and sign stand assemblies equipped with provisions for selectively collapsing the entire assemblies into compact and conveniently stored configurations, as well as being applicable in assemblies not so equipped.

摘要： A display holder having track members for securely gripping and holding differently sized posters, signs and advertising materials. The track members comprise elongated extrusions having one or more flange members thereon which mate with corresponding elongated ribs on the backing member of the display holder. The advertising materials are inserted on the display holder so that at least one edge thereof is positioned between a flange member and a rib. The panels are held securely in place by tension. A plurality of frame-like members are preferably positioned on the exterior edges of the backing panel.

摘要： An improved sign stand for flexible traffic control signage is provided which includes a cam assembly for quickly securing a sign to the stand without sacrificing the holding force generated thereby. The sign stand includes a base assembly for temporarily erecting the sign at a desirable location, and an elongated upright extending from the base assembly. A cam assembly is supported by the upright for releasably securing a vertical brace member of a flexible sign. The cam assembly includes a rotatable cam member and a compliant member interdisposed between the cam member and the upright which is operably associated therewith to elastically yield in response to rotation of the cam member, thereby generating a clamping force between the upright and the cam assembly to releasably secure the vertical brace member to the stand. Various modifications to the preferred embodiment are also disclosed which further enable the improved sign stand to accommodate vertical brace members of varying thickness without sacrificing the holding force generated between the sign stand and the sign.

The device generally comprises a modular housing, a base member and a plurality of lights positioned in the housing--either horizontally or vertically. A plurality of display modules are positioned on the housing and backlit by the lights. A door member is pivotally connected along its upper edge to the housing covering the modules. A pair of gas-assisted spring members are provided between the door member and the housing. Air gaps or air vents are provided in order to allow air circulation in the housing. A second member above the door member is provided for holding and displaying posters and other advertising and promotional materials. A plurality of clamping members hold the display materials in place. The second member can be illuminated or non-illuminated. Various modular units can be provided to increase the size and display space provided by the device. The display modules include a plurality of horizontal divider members removably secured to retainer members. Menu strips, pricing units and display members can be positioned between channels in the divider members and/or the frame members forming the display modules. The pricing units are adapted to be backlit by lights in the display device.

摘要： A rear illuminated fascia apparatus for mounting on a surface is disclosed. The apparatus has a support structure comprising support brackets, top and bottom edge frame members, and corner members which tension and hold in place a flexible, translucent sheet material. Metal halide lights are used to illuminate the sheet material. A light dispersion member is positioned between the lights and the sheet material to uniformly distribute and disperse the light through the sheet material. Access members in the apparatus and access openings in the light dispersion member allow convenient changes of the lights.
