摘要： Attachment elements to be fixed to panel-shaped structural components by a hardenable material include an axially elongated dowel sleeve (1) forming a passageway extending from a second end toward a first end. An axially extending annular part (2) encircles the dowel sleeve. A bag-like member (3) is secured to the annular part and to the dowel sleeve adjacent the first ends thereof. The bag-like member is inserted through a borehole in the structural component from an outer side thereof. The bag-like member can be filled with a hardenable material providing a gripping action with an inner side of the structural component. The bag-like member, when filled with the hardenable material, has a first side facing the inner side of the structural component and an oppositely facing second side with openings in the first side being larger than the openings in the second side. As a result, when hardenable material is injected into the bag-like member, it flows out through the openings in the first side and supports the bag-like member with large area contact with the inner side of the structural component.

摘要： An anchor member to be fixed in a borehole by a permanently hardenable mass is formed as a sleeve-like member with the outside surface deformed inwardly at axially and circumferentially spaced areas so that the inside surface is deformed into a multi-sided cross-section. The inside surface can be four-sided with the inwardly deformed areas increasing the anchoring effect and preventing turning of the member when a fastening element is threaded into its trailing end. The sleeve-like member is closed at its leading end to avoid the hardenable mass from flowing into the member.

摘要： A dowel assembly for use as an anchor in a structural material, such as a light and hollow structural material, includes an axially extending sleeve formed of expanded metal for receiving a hardenable mass and an anchor member. The sleeve is closed at its leading end and is open at its trailing end. The leading end is closed by folds formed in the expanded metal and the trailing end has an outwardly projecting flange. Such a sleeve fabricated from expanded metal is inherently stiff and can be produced economically.

摘要： A method of securing an anchor rod in a borehole at an underwater location without the use of expanding force includes a first step of partially filling the borehole with a flowable hardenable bonding mass. Next, a cartridge containing a hardenable bonding mass is placed in the borehole and a part of the flowable bonding mass is displaced from the borehole. Since the cartridge substantially fills the borehole, the flowable bonding mass flows between the borehole surface and the cartridge. Finally, an anchor rod is driven into the borehole breaking up or destroying the cartridge, so that the two bonding masses mix, harden and bond the anchor within the borehole.

摘要： An installation tool for placing anchor elements includes an axially extending member and a ball with a thread on the member for engagement with the anchor element to be installed. The ball is captured in a receiving space in the installation tool and serves as a stop for limiting the threaded engagement of the tool with the anchor element. The ball has only a punctiform contact with the element, accordingly, the frictional engagement between the ball and the element developed while an anchor element is being screwed in is very small, so that the installation tool can be unscrewed easily from the anchor element after the element is installed.

摘要： An expansion anchor assembly for use in a borehole formed in a receiving material has a leading end and a trailing end relative to the insertion direction of the assembly into the borehole. The expansion anchor assembly includes a tie rod with an expansion cone at its leading end, an expansion sleeve through which the tie rod extends and a cone sleeve positioned around the expansion cone and between the expansion cone and the leading end of the expansion sleeve. The radially outer surfaces of the expansion cone and the cone sleeve each have a different cone angle. Due to the different once angle, when the tie rod is drawn into the expansion sleeve toward the trailing end of the assembly, the part with the smaller cone angle moves in the same direction into the expansion sleeve until it contacts a stop. Subsequently on continued inward movement of the tie rod, both the expansion cone and the cone sleeve are drawn into the leading end of the expansion sleeve and effect an increased expanding action.
