摘要： A bottle carrier of the so-called neck-through, top gripping type is formed of semi-rigid material and comprises a frame structure in which a plurality of collars are formed each collar having at least one pair of lift tabs which are upwardly inclined and which engage the flange of a bottle to impart an upward lifting force thereto together with at least one pair of stabilizing tabs integrally formed with the frame structure and which engage a bottle shoulder so as to impart a force to the bottle shoulder which has a lateral component as well as a downward component and by this means to grip the bottle at spaced points one above the other and thereby to enhance the stability of the carrier.

摘要： For use primarily in article carriers, interlocking structure for securing a pair of face contacting overlapping panels in interlocked relation includes a locking aperture formed in one of the panels and having an anchoring edge and a spaced securing edge disposed in generally parallel relation and including side edges together with a locking tab having a body portion, a heel portion, and a toe portion and being struck from the other of said panels and folded through an angle of approximately 180.degree. toward an adjacent edge thereof and into face contacting relation with the part of the other panel which is disposed adjacent the edge thereof and so as to cause the heel portion to enter the locking aperture and to engage the anchoring edge and to cause the toe portion to enter the locking aperture adjacent the securing edge.

摘要： A bottle carrier for enveloping the flanged necks of a plurality of bottles arranged in two rows of at least two bottles each includes an apertured bottom panel arranged with the bottle neck receiving apertures disposed in at least two rows, a locking notch formed in each aperture and located adjacent the longitudinal medial center line of the bottom panel, an inwardly and upwardly tapered side wall foldably joined to each side edge of the bottom panel, an inwardly and downwardly tapered support wall foldably joined to the top edge of each of said side walls, a plurality of apertures formed in each of said side walls and in each of said support walls and near the upper edges thereof to define a plurality of neck receiving apertures for engaging the flanges of the bottle necks respectively and a plurality of locking tabs formed along the bottom edges of said support walls and arranged to engage said notches respectively thereby to interconnect said support walls with said bottom panel. If desired handle panels may be foldably joined to the bottom edges of the support walls and may project upwardly therefrom and guide panels struck from the bottle neck receiving apertures in the bottom panel and folded upwardly so as to engage the respective locking tabs during assembly of the carrier.According to a modification of the invention, cover panel elements instead of handle panels may be foldably joined to the bottom edges of the support walls and may be arranged so as to overlie the medial portion of the bottom wall which is disposed between the bottom edges of the support panels.

摘要： An article carrier having top, bottom and side walls interconnected to form a tubular structure is provided with end closure means in the form of door-like panels hinged to each end edge of each side wall, the door-like panels being folded into overlapping relationship and being secured together by interlocking means which comprises a locking aperture formed in one panel at each end of the carrier and arranged to cooperate with a locking panel foldably joined with the other panel and having an integral locking heel and a locking toe foldably joined to the locking panel, the locking heel and locking toe being arranged for insertion into the locking aperture in such manner as to secure the locking panel in flat face contacting relation with the panel in which a locking aperture is formed in order to secure these panels in overlapping relationship thereby to close the ends of the carrier.
