    摘要: An electronic device with infrared touch input function is provided. The electronic device includes a display unit defining an information display area; an infrared input device comprising a circuit board having two pairs of oppositely disposed sides defining an open area corresponding in size and shape to the information display area, at least one light emitting device positioned on one corner of the circuit board; a linear array of light detecting devices positioned on one side or two adjacent sides of the circuit board and faced to light emitting devices; and a micro-processing unit configured for determining whether the light detecting device receives the infrared light emitted by the light emitting device; and a central processing unit(CPU) configured for controlling the display unit displaying a plurality of menu options, determining whether the menu option is touched; and performing functions corresponding to the menu option when the menu option is touched.

    摘要: The present invention provides a portable electronic device. The device includes a first controller, a second controller, a mode switch unit, and a main controller. The mode switch unit is for a user to operate thereby generating a mode switch instruction. The main controller is for switching a work mode according to the mode switch instruction from the mode switch unit. When the mode switch unit generates a first mode switch instruction, the device enters a common work mode whereby the main controller activates the first controller and the second controller to be on standby; and when the mode switch unit generates a second mode switch instruction, the device enters a single work mode whereby the main controller activates only one of the first controller and the second controller to be on standby.

    摘要: An I2C multi-slot circuit system includes a plurality of I2C slots for receiving a plurality of slave processors, a CPU, a logic control unit, and a I2C switch unit. The CPU determines an address of one of the I2C slots which to-be-transmitted data will be transmitted to, and generates a first logic control signal according to the determined address. The logic control unit enables the one of the I2C slots which the to-be-transmitted data will be transmitted to according to the first logic control signal. The I2C switch unit receives and transmits I2C signal converted from the to-be-transmitted data by the CPU to the I2C slot. A related method is also provided.

    摘要: An IR controlling device includes a display panel, a number of IR emitters, a number of IR receivers, and a receiving controller. The IR emitters and the IR receivers are staggered under the display panel, and facing the display panel. The IR emitters are to emit IR beams in sequence, and the IR receivers are to receive the IR beams reflected by an external object. The receiving controller generates a plurality of response signals corresponding to the IR receivers. An IR processing unit receives the response signals, and determines a virtual position of the external object on the display panel. A controlling unit outputs a control signal and executes a corresponding function. A display processing unit receives the control signal and updates the content on the display panel.

    摘要: An electronic device includes a first rechargeable battery, a solar cell mounted on the electronic device, a second rechargeable battery and a power management circuit. The power management circuit includes a control module, a DC/DC module, a switch and a power supply switching module. The DC/DC module is configured for converting the DC power generated by the solar cell from one voltage level to another, and activating and maintaining the activation of the control module. The switch is turned on by the control module when the control module is activated, causing the DC power from the DC/DC module to charge the second rechargeable battery. The power supply switching module is controlled by the control module to select the second rechargeable battery to power the electronic device if the voltage level of the rechargeable battery is lower than that of the second rechargeable battery.

Each of the contacts is assigned to a portion of the rotary dial and capable of forming a closed circuit when the corresponding portion of the rotary dial is pressed down and in contact with the contact. The input device has a compact size because the rotary dial can replace some keys.
