    摘要: An electromagnetic pen includes a pen core body, an outer cladding surrounding the pen core body, an oscillator circuit and a battery. The outer cladding is made of insulative material. A number of elongated first conductors and a number of elongated second conductors are alternately arranged on a circumferential surface of the outer cladding, and each first conductor is electrically insulated from the corresponding neighboring second conductors. Each first conductor is electrically coupled to the battery, and each second conductor is electrically coupled to the oscillator circuit. When the electromagnetic pen is held by a user, the first conductor is electrically connected to the second conductor via the user's hand, causing the battery to provide voltage to the oscillator circuit, and the oscillator circuit therefore emits electromagnetic signals.

    摘要: The present invention provides a portable electronic device. The device includes a first controller, a second controller, a mode switch unit, and a main controller. The mode switch unit is for a user to operate thereby generating a mode switch instruction. The main controller is for switching a work mode according to the mode switch instruction from the mode switch unit. When the mode switch unit generates a first mode switch instruction, the device enters a common work mode whereby the main controller activates the first controller and the second controller to be on standby; and when the mode switch unit generates a second mode switch instruction, the device enters a single work mode whereby the main controller activates only one of the first controller and the second controller to be on standby.

    摘要: The present invention provides a power saving mobile phone and a power saving method adapted for the mobile phone. The mobile phone includes a media playing controller for controlling media playing functions and a mobile communications controller for controlling mobile communications functions. The method includes: a) receiving an incoming call when playing an audio file; b) pausing playing the audio file; c) receiving an answer call instruction of the incoming call; d) measuring time; e) judging whether a hang-up instruction is received in a predetermined time period based on measured time; and f) stopping playing the audio file and decreases a voltage of the media playing controller to zero, if the hang-up instruction is not received in the predetermined time period.

The portable electronic apparatus includes an input unit, a first controller, a second controller, a human interface device (HID), and a switch unit. The input unit generates input signals from a user. The first controller performs a first group of functional applications and generates a first group of functional interfaces. The second controller performs a second group of functional applications and also generates a second group of functional interfaces. The HID receives the input signals generated from the input unit and generates a control instruction. The switch unit receives the control instruction from the HID to switch between the first controller and the second controller. Accordingly, the first controller and the second controller perform corresponding functions.

The rotary dial module includes a base plate, a flexible printed circuit board, a retainer, a rotary dial, and a plurality of contacts. The flexible printed circuit board is mounted on the base plate. The retainer is positioned above the flexible printed circuit board and is mounted on the base plate. The rotary dial is rotatably mounted on the retainer. The contacts are mounted on the flexible printed circuit board. Each of the contacts is assigned to a portion of the rotary dial and capable of forming a closed circuit when the corresponding portion of the rotary dial is pressed down and in contact with the contact. The input device has a compact size because the rotary dial can replace some keys.
