摘要： An image processing apparatus associates application information to connect to a server device and a client certificate to transmit to the server device with each other and stores therein the associated application information and client certificate. An application managing part activates a browser with designating transmission of the client certificate which is associated with the application information. The browser transmits the client certificate identified by the application managing part to the server device when a request for transmission of the client certificate is received from the server device. As the result, the image processing apparatus reduces operation load placed on a user to transmit the client certificate to the server device. Moreover, the appropriate client certificate may be transmitted to the server device without lowering efficiency in processing. So, data communication between the image processing apparatus and the server device may be established rapidly.

摘要： A portable terminal user uses a portable terminal so as to select data to be printed among data in a server as well as an MFP from which the data is to be printed out. The server creates authentication data and transmits the authentication data to the selected MFP. The MFP displays the authentication data. The portable terminal acquires the authentication data through picture taking, and transmits the acquired data to the server. The server compares the created authentication data with the data transmitted from the portable terminal. If they match, print data corresponding to the authentication data is transmitted to the MFP, whereby the MFP performs printing. With such a configuration, an image output system attaining excellent usability for the user and improved security can be provided.

摘要： An image processing apparatus wherein a plural number of optional ways of processing image data are stored in connection with each user, and one of the ways is designated as an initial setting for the user's way of processing image data. The image data are data sent from an exterior device to a specified user or data which a scanning section generated by reading a document image. Each user can change his/her initial setting arbitrarily. Depending on the device which a user logs in and/or the attributes of data, the way of processing data is changed from the initial setting to another of the stored optional ways or to a new way which is different from the initial setting in at least one item. Thereby, each user can receive data in a more convenient way.
