摘要： A stapler clincher mechanism which bends two leg portions of a staple struck and penetrated through papers by a staple driving unit, includes: two first clinchers respectively disposed downwardly of the two leg portions of the staple and respectively including guide inclined surfaces which guides the two leg portions in such a manner that the two leg portions are curved inwardly; a second clincher interposed between the two first clinchers and including a projection portion which presses leading ends of the two curved leg portions toward a paper surface of the papers; and a drive mechanism, after the two leg portions of the staple are curved by the guide inclined surfaces, which retreats the first clinchers along the paper surface and moves the second clincher toward the paper surface.

摘要： In a liquid discharging method for discharging droplets from a plurality of droplet discharging portions of a liquid discharging head, an actual pattern is created to indicate the discharging states of the droplets from the liquid discharging portions, and information about a defective liquid discharging portion having discharging failure is obtained by checking the discharging states. According to the information, the defective liquid discharging portion is prohibited form discharging, and discharging of droplets from a liquid discharging portion near the defective liquid discharging portion is controlled to reduce the influence of discharging failure of the defective discharging portion, and to correct image information on a recording medium.

摘要： Outer shape dimensions of a staple cartridge for binding 100 sheets and a staple cartridge for binding 50 sheets are made the same. Staple detecting holes are provided at bottom faces of both of them, and a cartridge identifying hole for identifying a type of a cartridge is formed at one of them. A cartridge identifying sensor and a staple detecting sensor are provided at the inside of an electric stapler. Charge of the staple cartridge, determination of a cartridge type and presence or absence of a staple at the inside of the staple cartridge are detected by signals of the sensors.

摘要： A cartridge for an electric stapler comprises an inner cartridge for holding a plurality of staple sheets in multi-layered form, each of the stapler sheets being formed by sticking straight staples together in sheet-like form, and an outer cartridge associated with the inner cartridge and detachably mounted on the electric stapler. The outer cartridge includes an accommodating section for accommodating the inner cartridge, a staple passage formed so as to extend from a lower end of the accommodating section, a staple receiving stand disposed at a front end of the staple passage, a pusher for pushing legs of a staple forward, the staple being formed into a square U-shape on the staple receiving stand, and a drive channel, arranged at the front of the staple passage, for receiving the formed staple pushed by the pusher. A driver plate of the main body of the stapler drives the formed staple in a direction orthogonal to the staple passage.
