Abstract:
Compounds represented by Formula (I): or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are effective as NMDA/NR2B antagonists useful for treating neurological conditions such as, for example, pain, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, ischemic brain injury including stroke, and other conditions.
Abstract:
A system of dispensing viscous liquid including mounting plate and reservoir and dispensing mechanism for use with a bottle containing liquid having a viscosity up to about 20,000 cps. The mounting plate has a generally flat rectangular surface with a first and second pair of vertically extending mounting tracks extending outwardly from the plate. A first shelf positioned generally horizontally and extending from the plate below and between the first pair of tracks. A second shelf positioned generally horizontally and extending outwardly of the plate generally below and between the second pair of tracks. A flexible first latch positioned between the first shelf and the second pair of tracks, and a mechanism below the second shelf for supporting the mechanism for dispensing liquid. A bottle has a neck with a membrane capable of being punctured, and a dove tail member extending longitudinally of the bottle spaced to slide between at least one of the first and second pair of mounting tracks. The reservoir has a housing with one end for receiving the bottle of liquid and an opening at the other end through which liquid flows, and the housing has a punch extending upwardly and positioned to extend into the bottle neck and to puncture the membrane. The reservoir and variations of the plate are disclosed as are bottle variations and a different pumping mechanism.
Abstract:
A system for dispensing liquid soap including a closed wall structure defining a container with a partition separating the container into a separate lower liquid soap reservoir and a separate upper refill compartment. Dispensing mechanism is carried by the container for dispensing liquid soap from the reservoir. The partition has a refill aperture therethrough providing communication for soap flow between said reservoir and the refill compartment and dimensioned to permit the free flow of liquid soap therethrough. A refill cartridge of liquid soap has an outlet, removably enclosed within the refill compartment in a refill configuration with the outlet disposed for cooperation with the refill aperture to permit the free flow of liquid soap from the refill cartridge to the reservoir thereby to refill the reservoir as liquid soap is dispensed therefrom. Actuating mechanism is slidably mounted on the container in pivotable contact with the dispensing means with the actuating mechanism being slidable between a rest position and a dispensing position such that not greater than five pounds of pressure is sufficient to move the actuating mechanism between the rest and dispensing positions thereof.
Abstract:
A system and method for facilitating a financial transaction over a network including use of a passphrase account identifier is described herein. In one embodiment, a system for facilitating a financial transaction over a network comprises a communication interface; and a payment provider system configured to receive via the communication interface a passphrase account identifier from a merchant system, match the passphrase account identifier to a corresponding funding instrument number of a corresponding funding instrument, communicate the corresponding funding instrument number to an issuer system, receive from the issuer system a notification indication of one of acceptance of the funding instrument or decline of the funding instrument, and communicate back to the merchant system the notification indication.
Abstract:
This invention provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that operates in connection with a machine vision detector or other machine vision system, which provides a highly intuitive and industrial machine-like appearance and layout. The GUI includes a centralized image frame window surrounded by panes having buttons and specific interface components that the user employs in each step of a machine vision system set up and run procedure. One pane allows the user to view and manipulate a recorded filmstrip of image thumbnails taken in a sequence, and provides the filmstrip with specialized highlighting (colors or patterns) that indicate useful information about the underlying images. The system is set up and run are using a sequential series of buttons or switches that are activated by the user in turn to perform each of the steps needed to connect to a vision system, train the system to recognize or detect objects/parts, configure the logic that is used to handle recognition/detection signals, set up system outputs from the system based upon the logical results, and finally, run the programmed system in real time. The programming of logic is performed using a programming window that includes a ladder logic arrangement. A thumbnail window is provided on the programming window in which an image from a filmstrip is displayed, focusing upon the locations of the image (and underlying viewed object/part) in which the selected contact element is provided.
