    Abstract: A fiber optic telecommunications device includes a frame and a fiber optic module. The fiber optic module includes a main housing portion defining fiber optic connection locations for connecting cables to be routed through the frame and a cable management portion for guiding cables between the main housing portion and the frame. The main housing portion of the fiber optic module is slidably mounted to the frame, the main housing portion slidable between a retracted position and an extended position in a sliding direction. The cable management portion of the fiber optic module includes a radius limiter slidably coupled to both the main housing portion and the frame, wherein movement of the main housing portion with respect to the frame slidably moves the radius limiter with respect to the main housing portion along the sliding direction.

    Abstract: This disclosure is related to a fiber optic distribution system including a telecommunications enclosure. In one aspect, the telecommunications enclosure can include a main body and a cover that together define an interior cavity. A first tray and a second tray can be mounted within the interior cavity. The first tray can be configured to hold a fiber optic splitter and to include cable management features. The second tray can be configured with a termination feature for connecting cables extending from the splitter to cables that can be distributed to individual locations remote from the enclosure, such as individual dwelling units.

    Abstract: A telecommunications device includes a rack defining right, left, front, rear, top, and bottom sides, the rack defining mounting locations in a stacked arrangement from the bottom to the top, the mounting locations for receiving modules defining connection locations. A cable storage bay is located at one of the right and left sides of the rack and defines front and rear cable storage areas. Both the front and rear cable storage areas include cable management structures for managing and guiding cables toward and away from the connection locations. A trough is defined at the top of the rack, the trough configured for extending cables to other racks in a front to rear direction, the trough also defining a cable drop-off communicating with the cable storage bay for extending cables to either of the front or rear cable storage areas for further connection to the connection locations.

    Abstract: A telecommunications chassis comprises a cable sealing portion defining at least one cable opening configured to sealably receive a cable and a module mounting portion extending from the cable sealing portion, which further comprises a housing defining an open front closable by a door to define an interior, a rear wall, a right wall, and a left wall. A plurality of module mounting locations is provided in a vertically stacked arrangement, each configured to receive a telecommunications module through the open front. An exterior of the housing includes a first column of radius limiters defining curved profiles for guiding cables from the front toward the rear with bend control. A second column of radius limiters in the form of spools is spaced apart and generally parallel to the first column of radius limiters and a third column of radius limiters, at least some of which are in the form of spools, is also spaced apart and generally parallel to the first and second columns of radius limiters. The rear wall defines an opening for accessing from the exterior of the housing rear ends of modules to be mounted in the housing for signal input, wherein the exterior also includes a plate at least partially overlapping the opening for protection of cables entering the opening.

A cable storage spool is rotatably mounted to the body for storage and deployment of cable.
