摘要： A method and file structure for generating an efficient difference files from and old file and a new file so that a difference file can be transmitted to a second computer system where the difference file and a duplicate of the old file can quickly be used to create a copy of the new file is disclosed. A differencing process compares an old file and a new file to generate a difference file in which the old file is used as a database of byte strings. The differencing process reads strings of data from the new file, searches for the existence of those strings in the old file, and notes the locations in the old file in which strings in the new file are found and stores in a difference file an indication of the location where a matching string is found and an indication of the length. A specific file structure for the difference file is disclosed.

A rigid base over the suction cup defines a handle with an internal volume leading to an opening on the bottom cup surface. An exit valve through the handle wall to the internal handle volume. An air pump to the internal handle volume pumps air out of the internal volume. A release actuator is coupled to a release valve allows airflow into the internal handle volume. A releasable leash connector on the handle receives a portion of a leash to hold the leash. The cover completely surrounds the entire suction cup assembly such that a lower periphery of the cover is configured to rest against the flat smooth anchor surface when the suction cup is engaged with the flat anchoring smooth surface. The cover has an opening to access the leash connector.

摘要： A fluid dispenser is disclosed for dispensing multiple fluids and that includes valve assemblies with rotary recirculation and dispense valves. A table controlled by a motor and a controller moves all of the valve assemblies to either a dispense position or a recirculation position together. The controller selectively operates the pump motors associated with individual canisters of fluid so that the system can dispense a single fluid or multiple fluids at a time. When in the recirculation position, the fluids can be continuously, intermittently or periodically recirculated to maintain the fluids in a homogenous state.

摘要： An anti-drip valve assembly for a fluid dispenser is disclosed that includes a valve block and a cylindrical valve body disposed within the valve block. The cylindrical valve body includes a recess for accommodating a valve element. The recess is in communication with the chamber for accommodating a biasing element for biasing the valve element outward and away from the valve body or towards the valve block or dispense port, depending upon the position of the valve body. When the valve body is in a closed position, the valve element is biased against the dispense port. When the valve body is in a dispense position, and there may be a plurality of dispense positions, the dispense port is selectively in communication with a fluid passageway or one of a plurality of fluid passageways for dispensing fluid through the dispense port. The valve assembly is particularly useful for fluid dispensers employing more than one pump for dispensing a common fluid in different amounts.

Improved graphical depictions of navigation performance based flight path deviation information provide pilots and flight crew members with clear, concise displays of the dynamic relationship between ANP and RNP, mode and aspect of flight and related procedures, intersecting flight paths, and current actual flight path deviation from a predefined flight path during the final approach segment to a runway and during landing. For example, an enhanced IAN display may include NPS-type deviation scales to show RNP/ANP relationships and predetermined RNP markers to alert the pilots and flight crew members that the FMC has transitioned from an NPS display for RNAV (LNAV/VNAV) flight procedures to an enhanced IAN display for a non-precision (non-xLS) approach and/or landing.

摘要： A clamping mechanism and method are disclosed for a mixing machine that detects when the upper clamping member engages the tops or lids of the containers loaded into the mixing machine. The disclosed clamping mechanism includes a lower base and an upper plate defining an adjustable clamping distance disposed therebetween. At least one of the lower base and upper plate is moveable to increase or decrease the clamping distance. The upper plate is pivotally connected to a cross member so the upper plate is at least partially pivoted away from the cross member when nothing is clamped between the upper plate and lower base. At least one of the cross member and upper plate is associated with a sensor. The sensor is linked to a controller, which controls the movement of the upper plate or the lower base (or both) for clamping and unclamping articles disposed on the lower base. The sensor is activated and sends a signal to the controller when the upper plate has been pressed against the cross member by a top surface of an article clamped between the upper plate and lower cross member under movement controlled by the controller.

The method includes the steps of: analyzing a user search query to determine a subject matter of the query; and selecting a sub-set of information from the plurality of information sources based upon the determined subject matter of the query. In further detailed embodiment, the analyzing step combines at least two methods of deriving the subject matter from the search query; and the method further includes the step of searching the information source(s) in the sub-set of information sources, substantially in parallel, for documents relevant to the search query. A system and method is also provided for searching a plurality of searchable information sources, where the information sources include at least one secure source. This method includes the steps of: (a) storing security credentials necessary for accessing the secure source; (b) accessing the secure source utilizing the stored security credentials; (c) accessing a non-secure source; (d) searching the accessed sources, substantially in parallel, for documents relevant to a search query; and (e) displaying results of the searching step.
