Abstract: A modular floor system including webbing formed by a plurality of interconnected web sections. The web sections include attachment portions that are aligned in the grid layout. The support members are attachable to attachment sections of the web sections so that attached support members are properly aligned and positioned with respect to one another along the grid layout. The modular floor system includes tiles positioned upon and secured to the support members to be supported above the ground surface by the support members. A utility space is defined by and disposed between the ground surface and the supported tiles. Utility cables can be routed through the utility space.

Abstract: Embedded furniture systems include a wall having a recessed pocket, a furniture element hingedly connected to the wall and selectively moveable between a storage position in which the furniture element is vertically disposed in the pocket and a utility position in which the furniture element horizontally extends from the pocket, and a support structure hingedly connected to the furniture element and selectively positionable between an extended position in which the support structure protrudes substantially perpendicular to the furniture element and a retracted position in which the support structure extends substantially parallel to the furniture element. An illuminating mechanism illuminates a lighting element disposed in the support structure when the support structure is in the retracted position by bringing a contact element connected to the surface of the furniture element into communication with a circuit element connected to the surface of the support structure to complete an electrical circuit.

Abstract: Snap-in trim systems include a mounting element securable to or integrated with a structural component of a building. Structural components include modular wall components suitable for having decorative or structural trim attached thereto. The mounting element extends longitudinally along a length of the structural component. A longitudinal connection element is secured to the mounting element along the length thereof. The connection element attaches to the mounting element at an attachment interface either anterior-perpendicularly, lateral-parallelly, or anterior-lateral-diagonally. A trim element is connected to or integrated with the connection element. Connected trim elements include an alignment element for ensuring proper positioning of the trim element relative to the connection element. Trim elements include baseboard, crown molding, window casing, door casing and door stops.
