    摘要： A composite heat spreader is disclosed in one embodiment of the invention as including an input interface to conduct heat from a heat source, such as an integrated circuit, and an output interface to transfer heat to a heat sink. A support material having a first thickness is provided between the input interface and the output interface. One or more diamond monocrystals are embedded in the support material and have a second thickness which is at least 20% of the first thickness. In some embodiments, the diamond monocrystals extend from the input interface to the output interface. These one or more diamond monocrystals may be either rough or finished diamonds.

The cemented metal carbide substrate is bonded in turn to the front end of a cemented metal carbide bolster. The carbide bolster is securable against an outer surface of a driving mechanism through a press fit.

    摘要： In one aspect of the present invention, an outer diameter (O.D.) centerless grinding machine for use in grinding a diamond workpiece has a grinding wheel positioned parallel to a regulating wheel which is adapted to press a cylindrical workpiece into the grinding wheel as the regulating wheel rotates. Electronic equipment may be adapted to adjust a pressure of the regulating wheel against the grinding wheel. Also, a carrier may be adapted to house the workpiece, the carrier being attached to a translation mechanism adapted to move the carrier between the wheels such that the workpiece is in contact with both wheels.

The first and second ends of the electrical conductor assembly are substantially aligned to the central axis of the bore at each end by the centering assemblies, the centering assemblies being adapted to allow fluid to pass through the bore.

    摘要： In one aspect of the invention, a downhole electrical connection system comprises first and second tubular bodies adapted for threaded connection to each other, each tubular body comprising an inner and an outer diameter. First and second electrical conductor assemblies are disposed within the inner diameters of the tubular bodies and are substantially coaxial with the tubular bodies and generally extend the length of the tubular bodies. The first electrical conductor assembly comprises a first electrical contact adapted to abut a second electrical contact of the second electrical conductor assembly when the first and second tubular bodies are coupled together. The first electrical contact is disposed within an elastically deformable wiper, and the elastically deformable wiper is adapted to expose the first electrical contact as it is engaged by the second electrical contact under an axially compressive load.

At least one degradation assembly is disposed on the outer diameter and it comprises a holder and a pick shank secured within a bore of the holder. At least one lubricant reservoir is disposed within the inner diameter and is in fluid communication with the bore of the holder through a fluid pathway. In some embodiments, the lubricant reservoir maintains a fluid pressure on the pick shank.
