Abstract:
An electric power conversion device supplies electric power of a DC power source from an input part to an output part through a power conversion circuit having a transformer and switches. The transformer has primary and secondary coils magnetically connected. The device has a choke coil, an auxiliary coil and a control part. The auxiliary coil is connected to the output part and magnetically connected to the choke coil. The auxiliary coil is wound to allow a current to flow from a negative-electrode side to a positive-electrode side of the output part when a current flows from the power source to the choke coil. The control part performs a switching control of the switches to supply electric power of the source to the output part through the auxiliary coil to prevent generation of magnetic flux in the primary coil and the current from flowing in the secondary coil.
Abstract:
A power conversion device includes an inverter which converts a DC power supplied thereto from a power supply device to an AC power using an operation of a switching element and outputs the AC power toward a load a current meter which measures an output current from the inverter, and a control unit which controls the operation of the switching element to change an output voltage waveform from the inverter. The control unit changes the output voltage waveform on the basis of the measured output current.
Abstract:
A control apparatus is provided which controls a power converter including a first circuit including first-side switching elements, and a second circuit including second-side switching elements and a choke coil. The control apparatus includes a current obtainment unit which obtains a value of current flowing through the choke coil, and a control unit which, when power is supplied from the second circuit to the first circuit, keeps a first-side switching element ON during a predetermined time period, before turning off at least one second-side switching element in an on state, the first-side switching element generating a reverse current in the second-side switching element to be turned off. The control unit performs control of keeping the first-side switching element ON during the predetermined time period and control of turning off the second-side switching element, on condition that the obtained value of the current is more than a predetermined command value.
Abstract:
A current mode controlled power converter controllable in a digitally processing current mode even during an on time. In the power converter, each control period based on a reference signal includes a slope calculation period in which a slope compensation signal for the control period is calculated by a slope compensation unit. During each slope calculation period, the slope compensation unit negates the slope compensation signal calculated previous to the control period including the slope calculation period, and a reset signal generation unit compares a current detection signal detected by a current detection unit with a current instruction set to an error signal generated by an error signal generation unit to generate a reset signal.
Abstract:
A power converter includes a control circuit provided with a set signal generator, a current command generator, a reset signal generator, a drive signal generator, and a pulse-width limiter. The set signal generator generates a set signal at every predetermined cycle. The current command generator generates a current command based on an output voltage command and an output voltage. The reset signal generator generates a reset signal based on an input current and the generated current command. The drive signal generator generates a drive signal which turns on in synchronization with the generated set signal to turn on a switching element and which turns off in synchronization with the subsequently generated reset signal to turn off the switching element. The pulse-width limiter limits a pulse-width of the drive signal according to an input voltage and the output voltage, or according to the input voltage and the output voltage command.
