    Abstract: A dielectric loss when a signal wave is transmitted between a feed line and an antenna element via a slot is reduced. An antenna 21 includes: a dielectric substrate 28 including a recess 28b; a conductive ground layer 27 that is bonded to the dielectric substrate 28 to cover the recess 28b, and includes slots 27a-27d arranged on an inner side relative to the recess 28b; a dielectric layer 26 bonded to the conductive ground layer 27 on a side opposite to the dielectric substrate 28 relative to the conductive ground layer 27; antenna elements 29a-29d formed on a bottom 28d of the recess 28b at positions facing the slots 27a-27d; and a feed line 24a that is formed on a side opposite to the conductive ground layer 27 relative to the dielectric layer 26, and is to be electromagnetically coupled to the antenna elements 29a-29d via the slots 27a-27d.

    Abstract: Patch antennas include four radiation elements arrayed in a rectangular lattice pattern at four positions around a feeding point in the electrode, and wiring which electrically couples each of the radiation elements and the feeding point with an equal wiring length, and is fed by a line-shaped feeding conductor arranged at a position intersecting slots formed at a ground conductor plate, where the feeding conductor has a repetitive branch pattern in which multiple pieces of line-shaped wiring are connected in T-shapes being perpendicular to each other at a total of 2N−1 branch points from a base end to each of the tips, and each of the tips is bent in a same direction in the second direction from a terminal end of the line-shaped wiring to which the tip is connected.

An antenna 1 includes a dielectric layer 6, a conductive ground layer 7 bonded to the layer 6 and including active slots 7c-7f aligned at regular intervals, aligned active elements 9c-9f formed facing the active slots 7c-7f, respectively, first passive elements 9b, 9a aligned with and extending from one end of a row of the active elements 9c-9f, second passive elements 9g, 9h aligned with and extending from the other end of the row, a feed line 4a formed on a side opposite to the layer 7 with respect to the layer 6, to be electromagnetically coupled to the active elements 9c-9f via the active slots 7c-7f. The second passive elements 9g, 9h are arranged in line symmetry with the first passive elements 9b, 9a with respect to a line 9z passing through the center of the row and perpendicular to the row.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an antenna device that has a radiation pattern whose peak direction is independent of a frequency of an electromagnetic wave emitted. The antenna device includes: a ground layer (11) made of an electric conductor; a plurality of array antennas (22) provided in a layer above the ground layer (11); and a Rotman lens (32) provided in a layer below the ground layer (11). Each array antenna (22i) includes: a power feed line (23Li) at a center of which a feedpoint (23Pi) is located; and a plurality of antenna elements (241i through 248i and 251i through 258i) connected to the power feed line (23Li), and has a point symmetric shape with respect to the feedpoint (23Pi) as a center of symmetry. Each feedpoint (23Pi) is coupled to any one output port (322i) of the Rotman lens (32) via a slot (111i) provided in the ground layer (11).
