    Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure provides a canister configured to adsorb and desorb fuel vapor generated in a fuel tank of a vehicle. The canister includes a charge port configured to take in the fuel vapor, a purge port configured to release the fuel vapor, an atmosphere port open to an atmosphere, a first adsorption chamber and a second adsorption chamber directly coupled to the charge port and the purge port or indirectly coupled to the charge port and the purge port via an additional chamber, a first adsorption member housed in the first adsorption chamber, and a second adsorption member housed in the second adsorption chamber. The first adsorption member includes a core material and an adsorption sheet having properties to adsorb the fuel vapor and wound around the core material.

The second cylinder has a cylindrical shape, the cross sectional area of which is larger than a cross sectional area of the first cylinder.

The insulator is provided to at least one of the first chamber or the second chamber. The insulator is arranged between the adsorbent and the inner wall so as to insulate the adsorbent that is placed in the first chamber or the second chamber, to which the insulator is provided, from the inner wall.

    Abstract: A canister includes a filling chamber and a partition. The filling chamber is filled with activated carbon. The partition is arranged in the filling chamber, and has plate-like members extending in a flow direction that is a direction where the evaporated fuel flows. Also, the partition forms at least three flow paths defined by the plate-like members, and the partition includes an opening portion communicating with the at least three flow paths and allowing the evaporated fuel to be transferred to other flow paths.

    Abstract: An evaporated fuel treatment device is provided in a canister including first to third chambers. The first chamber is provided with an inflow port and an outflow port at an end part thereof, and is connected to the second chamber. The evaporated fuel treatment device is configured as the third chamber of the canister. The third chamber has disposed therein activated carbon as an adsorbent material. The side connected to the second chamber in the third chamber is defined as second chamber side, and the side opposite to the second chamber side is defined as atmosphere side. An atmosphere port is provided at an end part on the atmosphere side of the third chamber. The third chamber is provided with a highly adsorptive layer and a low adsorptive layer which are aligned from the second chamber side to the atmosphere side.
