Abstract: A first network device obtains first information. The first information indicates that a first link is faulty, and the first link is a link between any two network devices in a network system to which the first network device belongs. The first network device sends the first information to a second network device by using BGP, for example, sends a link fault message to the second network device by using BGP. The link fault message carries the first information. The second network device is a neighbor device of the first network device. The first network device determines an unreachable route in a routing table of the first network device based on the first information and a topology of the network system. A path corresponding to the unreachable route includes the first link. The first network device marks the unreachable route as invalid.

Abstract: A route determining method, apparatus, and a network device are disclosed. The method includes a first forwarding node receives routing information from a second forwarding node, and then sends a packet to a destination node based on the routing information. The routing information includes a node identifier of the destination node and at least one piece of indication information that is in a one-to-one correspondence with at least one third forwarding node, and the second forwarding node belongs to the at least one third forwarding node. The packet includes the at least one piece of indication information, and the at least one piece of indication information indicates to forward the packet along the at least one third forwarding node.

Abstract: This application discloses a route processing method and a network device. The network device obtains a route prefix and autonomous system information associated with the obtained route prefix, where the associated autonomous system information includes to-be-verified autonomous system information. The network device verifies whether there is a match item in a route origin information base, where the match item includes the obtained route prefix and the to-be-verified autonomous system information; and determines, based on a verification result, whether to send the obtained route prefix. The network device verifies the autonomous system information associated with the to-be-sent route prefix before sending the route prefix. This reduces a possibility that the network device sends route information carrying incorrect autonomous system information, and reduces a possibility of causing an abnormal network flow direction.
