Abstract: A user group-based packet forwarding method and a device are provided. The method includes: a first network device receives a first service packet sent by first user equipment, where the first service packet includes information about the first user equipment; the first network device determines whether the first network device includes a first user group corresponding to the information about the first user equipment; and the first network device determines, based on a determining result, a value of first group information, generates a first segment routing over internet protocol version 6 (SRv6) packet, and sends the first SRv6 packet to a second network device, where the first SRv6 packet includes the first group information and the first service packet, and the first group information indicates an interworking policy that is determined based on the first user group.

Abstract: This application discloses a network and a data transmission method and apparatus, and belongs to the field of communication technologies. The network includes a core device and an edge device. The edge device identifies a service type of a first service packet from the core device, and reports a service type identifier of the first packet to the core device. The core device determines a priority corresponding to the service type identifier based on a stored service priority correspondence, and forwards, based on the priority, a service packet belonging to a same service flow as the first service packet. A strong service identification capability of the edge device is used to precisely identify thousands of service types, and a strong entry storage capability of the core device is used to store a correspondence that records thousands of service types and priorities. This effectively avoids problems such as transmission congestion and a packet loss that are caused by an incapability of precisely identifying a service type and allocation of a same priority to service packets of different service types.

Abstract: A first network device obtains first information. The first information indicates that a first link is faulty, and the first link is a link between any two network devices in a network system to which the first network device belongs. The first network device sends the first information to a second network device by using BGP, for example, sends a link fault message to the second network device by using BGP. The link fault message carries the first information. The second network device is a neighbor device of the first network device. The first network device determines an unreachable route in a routing table of the first network device based on the first information and a topology of the network system. A path corresponding to the unreachable route includes the first link. The first network device marks the unreachable route as invalid.

Abstract: In a route processing method, a first network device obtains one or more routes having a same destination address, and including a first route. Slice information corresponding to the one or more ports is determined based on one or more ports that are on the first network device and that receive the one or more routes. The first network device sends an updated first route to a second network device, where the updated first route carries the slice information and the destination address. After a route is received, corresponding slice information is determined based on a port that receives the route, so that slice information supported by a path from a network device to a route starting device is determined. The determined slice information is carried when the route is forwarded, so that a network device on a route advertisement path can obtain the slice information supported by the entire path.
