    Abstract: The present disclosure provides non-Newtonian inkjet inks and related methods. In one example, a non-Newtonian inkjet ink can comprise a gelator in an amount ranging from 0.1% to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the non-Newtonian inkjet ink; a salt in an amount of 0.05% to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the non-Newtonian inkjet ink; a sugar alcohol in an amount of 1% to 25% by weight based on the total weight of the non-Newtonian inkjet ink; and an organic solvent. The gelator and the salt can form a structured network, where the inkjet ink has a first dynamic viscosity ranging from 25 cps to 10,000 cps at a first state and a second dynamic viscosity ranging from 1 cps to 50 cps at a second state.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides orthogonal non-Newtonian inkjet inks and related methods. In one example, an orthogonal non-Newtonian inkjet ink can comprise a low molecular weight organic gelator in an amount ranging from 0.1% to 10% by weight; a metal oxide in an amount ranging from 0.1% to 10% by weight; a first salt in an amount of 0.05% to 20% by weight; a second salt in an amount of 0.05% to 20% by weight; and an organic solvent. The metal oxide and the first salt form a first structured network and the low molecular weight organic gelator and the second salt form a second structured network.

    Abstract: A system for erasing an ink from a medium includes the medium having the ink printed on a surface thereof, and an erasure fluid directly or indirectly applied to the surface, wherein the medium further includes another surface opposed to the surface upon which the ink is printed. An electrochemical cell includes an anode and a cathode. The anode formed from a semi-conductive or conductive carbon-containing material is positioned adjacent to one of: the surface of the medium upon which the ink is printed, or the other surface of the medium. The cathode formed from a semi-conductive or conductive carbon-containing material is positioned adjacent to another of: the other surface of the medium, or the surface of the medium upon which the ink is printed. The system further includes a power source to apply a voltage across the medium.
