摘要: Machine-readable media, methods, apparatus and system for a community-based trust are provided. In an embodiment, it may be determined whether a requesting node obtains a trust from a targeting node through an endorsement from an intermediate node. If the requesting node obtains the trust through the endorsement from the intermediate node, an intermediate trust level that indicates how much the targeting node trusts the intermediate node may be obtained; and a new trust level that indicates how much the targeting node trusts the requesting node may be calculated based upon the intermediate trust level.

摘要: A method for forwarding a packet may include generating, by a first hash function module, a first hash value based on data included within the packet. The method may also include generating, by a second hash function module, a second hash value based on data included within the packet. The method may additionally include determining, by a first hash region integral to a memory and associated with the first hash function module, whether an index location of the first hash region corresponding to the first hash value includes an entry. Moreover, the method may include determining, by a second hash region integral to a memory and associated with the second hash function module, whether an index location of the second hash region corresponding to the second hash includes an entry. The method may further include, in response to a determination that at least one of the index location of the first hash region corresponding to the first hash value and the index location of the second hash region corresponding to the second hash value includes an entry, forwarding the packet based on forwarding information included within the entry.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for telecommunications includes steps of receiving a first packet through a first port, and determining whether the first packet arrived over a protected path. If the first packet arrived over a protected path, the method also includes the steps of hashing a source address of the first packet, adding a first entry into a forwarding table, and adding a second entry into the forwarding table. The protected path is coupled to at least the first port and a second port. The first entry includes the result of hashing the packet, and an identification of the first port. The second entry includes the result of hashing the packet, and an identification of the second port.

摘要: The method according to the invention for adjusting the tuning of a receiver circuit for receiving modulated a high frequency signal within a frequency range, the high frequency signal comprising a sync signal, uses the steps of shifting a frequency of a local oscillator within the frequency range and looking for the sync signal, and storing the value of a first frequency, when a sync signal is recognized. Then, the frequency of the local oscillator is continuously shifted in the same frequency direction across the bandwidth of the modulated high frequency signal by controlling the presence of the sync signal. The frequency, at which the sync signal is lost, is stored as a second frequency. From the first and the second frequency in a further step an optimum tuning frequency, located between the first and second frequency, is calculated for the reception for the high frequency signal. The receiver circuit comprises in particular a sync signal detector coupled to an output of an intermediate frequency filter and a controller circuit coupled to the sync signal detector and a local oscillator for performing the method.

摘要: Embodiments of a computer system, a method, an integrated circuit and a computer-program product (i.e., software) for use with the computer system are described. These devices and techniques may be used to analyze an electrical characteristic of a logic gate electrically coupled to an output network in a stage. In particular, during the analysis, the effective capacitance of an output network coupled to a logic gate is approximated as a function of a total resistance of the output network, a total capacitance of the output network, and a geometric parameter of the output network. For example, the effective capacitance may be approximated as a function of a ratio of the product of the total resistance and the total capacitance to the fanout count of the output network. Using the effective capacitance and other parameters, such as a slew rate of an electrical signal applied to an input of the logic gate, an electrical characteristic of the logic gate, such as an input capacitance, is determined.

摘要: Provided are techniques for transferring data. It is determined whether an indicators map is to be associated with a source file that is being opened, wherein the indicators map indicates which source blocks of the source file have been updated since last being transferred to a target file. In response to determining that an indicators map is to be associated with the source file, it is determined whether the indicators map exists. In response to determining that the indicators map exists, it is determined whether the indicators map is to be trusted based on a last modified time and a last source file size stored in the indicators map and the source file. In response to determining that the indicators map is to be trusted, the indicators map is initialized. Then, in response to receiving a write for the source file, the indicators map is updated to indicate which portion of the source file has been modified.
