摘要： A stacked electrical connector includes an upper mating port, a lower mating port, an insulative separate portion separating the upper and the lower mating ports, and an additional metal shell covering the separate portion. The upper and lower mating ports include first and second metal shells, respectively. The additional metal shell includes a main body shielding a front surface of the separate portion and a pair of side walls extending backwardly from the main body to abut against the opposite walls. At least one side wall includes a lower bending portion attached to the second metal shell in order to form a much larger grounding area for EMI protection.

摘要： A connector includes: an insulative housing having a mating port formed between a pair of front wall and rear wall, and a pair of side walls thereof, the mating port defining a first direction for mating/un-mating a corresponding plug, and a second direction extending transversely and perpendicular to said first direction, and a third direction extending vertically and perpendicular to both said first and second directions; a shutter mechanism pivotally mounted to the insulative housing and having a pair of axles extending from two sides thereof in the second direction; wherein the side wall defines a first slot at an inner side thereof and a second slot at an outer side thereof, the second slot extending in the first direction, the first slot extending in a direction different from the second slot and overlapping with the second slot in the second direction to form an opening to receive the axles.

摘要： A power connector includes an insulative housing, a power contact and a switch retained to the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a front surface, a first cavity and a second cavity recessed from the front surface. The power contact has a mating portion protruding into the first cavity. The switch has a button received in the second cavity and a connecting contact engaging with the button. The button has a lever protruding inwardly from an inner side thereof. The lever defines a through hole, and the connecting contact extends through the through hole and moves in the through hole in a pressing process of the button to make the connecting contact electrically connect or disconnect with the power contact.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing, a number of conductive contacts, a shell and a rear cover. Receiving slots are disposed in the insulative housing for receiving the conductive contacts. Positioning grooves are defined at a rear lower side of the insulative housing, and a number of bumps are disposed on opposite inside surfaces thereof to interferingly retain soldering sections of the conductive contacts. A stabilization device, stamped and formed from a bottom forward surface of the shell, aids in providing a stable mounting of the electrical connector on the printed circuit board. Thus the electrical connector is prevented from slanting forward on its mounting, assuring proper operation.
