Abstract: A procedure and frame structure for Wi-Fi sensing is described. An aspect of the disclosure provides a method of sensing. Such the method includes sending, by an initiating station (STA) to a plurality of responder STAs, a sensing request comprising a sensing announcement frame indicating identifiers (ID) of the plurality of responder STAs. Such a method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, one or more responses based on the sensing request. In some embodiments, the announcement frame further indicates resource unit assignments for receiving acknowledgements from the plurality of responder STAs. In some embodiments, the method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, the acknowledgements indicating a willingness to participate in the sensing procedure.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus for coordinated beamforming. An aspect of the disclosure provides a method. The method includes sending, by a first access point (AP) of a plurality of collaborating APs, to one or more stations (STAs) associated with the plurality of collaborating APs, a request for channel state information (CSI) associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes receiving a response including the CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes sending, to a second AP of the plurality of collaborating APs, a sounding request indicating the second AP to request, from the one or more STAs, CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the second AP. Abstract: The AP can generate a distinctive 8 bit value, and fill the 8 most significant bits (MSBs) of the a 16 bit AID field to form a EDMG BSS AID. Beamforming can include a station performing a sector level sweep (SLS) process including transmitting, in sequence, a plurality of short sector sweep (SSVV) frames to the other station using corresponding ones of the antenna sectors, and receiving, in sequence, a plurality of the short SSW frames from the other station, the short SSW frames having an addressing field format specifying a receiver address association ID (RA AID) and a transmitter address association ID (TA AID). The distinctive 8 bit value can be used as the AP AID.
