The queuing system comprises at least one player interface, a queue interface, and a server computer networked to the player interface and the queue interface. In use, new players are placed on one or more of the electronic waiting lists, while the seats are monitored for vacancies via the player interfaces. Upon detecting a vacant seat, the server computer automatically assigns the next new player on the corresponding waiting list to the vacant seat of the selected manual or electronic gaming table.
