    摘要: 4-Hydroxydiphenyl (mono-OD) and 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl (DOD) are obtained simultaneously from a mixture which contains these two substances, if such a mixture is treated with an aqueous alkali, and the resulting solution and the solid phase formed are separated at a temperature from -28.degree. C. to +40.degree. C. and the solution and the solid phase are acidified separately in order to form the free mono-OD and DOD. Mono-OD and DOD can be present in the starting mixture in the free form or in the form of the alkali metal phenolates. After formation of the alkali metal phenolates, where this is required, the aqueous alkali still contains 1-15 mol of alkali metal hydroxide per mol of the diphenyl compounds. The concentration of alkali metal hydroxide should be 4-25% by weight, relative to the amount of water present. In this process, it is also possible to employ industrial mixtures of the alkali melts of the associated diphenyl-sulphonic acids.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 1-benzoylamino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-4,6-disulphonic acid (benzoyl-K acid) by reacting 1-amino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-4,6-disulphonic acid (K acid) with benzoylating agents, according to which process mixtures of aminonaphtholdisulphonic acid isomers are used instead of pure K acid, which mixtures contain over 40% by weight of K acid, relative to the total amount of diazotizable compounds in the mixture of isomers, and in which no other single isomer has a proportion which exceeds 10% by weight of the total amount of diazotizable compounds in the mixture of isomers.

    摘要: A process has been invented for the preparation of naphthalene-1,3,6-trisulphonic acid by sulphonating naphthalene with sulphuric acid and oleum, characterized in that naphthalene and most of the oleum are simultaneously metered into sulphuric acid or oleum of low concentration, which has been initially introduced, at about 140.degree. to 240.degree. C., the temperature is kept at about 140.degree. to 240.degree. C. for some time, the remainder of the oleum is then added at about 140.degree. to 240.degree. C. and the mixture is then further stirred for some time.Naphthalene-1,3,6-trisulphonic acid is a known important intermediate used, for example, in the preparation of T-acid, H-acid and chromotropic acid.
