摘要： An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes a first chassis having a keyboard device on its top surface; a second chassis having a display on its front surface; a hinge mechanism connecting the first chassis and the second chassis; a movable plate disposed in the rear of the keyboard device on the top surface of the first chassis, and is configured to be turnable in a direction of moving its rear end up and down centering on a rotating shaft provided on its front end; and a drive mechanism that causes the movable plate to turn in conjunction with a turning motion of the first chassis and the second chassis through the hinge mechanism.

摘要： A portable information device is capable of securing the appearance quality and the durability of products while having a foldable configuration. The portable information device has a backbone member provided throughout and between the inner surface of one edge portion of a first chassis member and the inner surface of one edge portion of a second chassis member so as to cover a gap between the one edge portion of the first chassis member and the one edge portion of the second chassis member connected by a hinge mechanism.
