Abstract:
A manually-actuated fluid dispenser pump including a pump body (10) and a piston (50) mounted to slide in leaktight manner in the pump body (10) between a rest position and a dispensing position. The piston is provided with a top sealing lip (52) in leaktight contact with the pump body (10). The pump includes an abutment member (80), fitted into the top edge of the pump body (10) and co-operating with the piston (50) to define its rest position. The top lip (52) of the piston (50) is made up of a first lip portion (53) co-operating in leaktight manner with the pump body (10) and of a second lip portion (54) co-operating in leaktight manner with the abutment in the rest position, and wherein the first and second lip portions (53, 54) are substantially parallel and spaced apart radially from each other.
Abstract:
A manually-actuated fluid dispenser pump including a pump body (10) and at least one piston (50, 55) mounted to slide in leaktight manner in said pump body (10) between a rest position and a dispensing position, said pump being characterized in that the pump body (10) is frustoconical at least in part so as to modify the radial stresses exerted on said at least one piston (50, 55) between said rest position and said dispensing position.
Abstract:
A fluid-dispenser pump comprising a pump body (10) containing a measuring chamber 20 defined between an upper piston (30) sliding in an upper portion (11) of the pump body (10), and a lower piston (40) sliding in a lower portion (12) of the pump body (10), said lower piston (40) co-operating with a spring (50) disposed in said lower portion (12) of the pump body (10), the pump being characterized in that the spring (50) is isolated from any contact with the fluid, the lower portion (12) of the pump body including air-intake means (15) enabling air to be admitted and/or expelled during actuation of the pump, isolation means (60) being provided to prevent fluid from penetrating into said air-intake means (15).
Abstract:
A manually-actuated fluid dispenser pump including a pump body (10) containing a pump chamber (20), said pump chamber (20) being defined between an inlet valve (30) and an outlet valve (40), a piston (50) being mounted to slide in said pump body (10) between a rest position and a dispensing position for dispensing the fluid contained in the pump chamber, said piston (50) being connected to, and in particular integral with, an actuating rod (60) provided with an expulsion channel (65), said inlet valve (30) including an inlet valve element (31) mounted to move in the pump body (10) and co-operating with said pump body (10) or with an element secured to or integral with said pump body to define the open and the closed positions for said inlet valve (30), said outlet valve (40) including an outlet valve element (41) mounted to move in the pump body (10) and co-operating with said actuating rod (60) or with an element secured to or integral with said actuating rod to define the open and the closed positions for said outlet valve (40), said fluid dispenser pump being characterized in that, during actuation, said outlet valve (40) is urged into its closed position by the pressure from the fluid contained in the pump body (20), said outlet valve element (41) being moved into the open position of the outlet valve (40) by said inlet valve element (31) when the piston (50) reaches its dispensing position.
Abstract:
A compressed gas device is disclosed for spraying a single dose of a fluid substance in finely divided form. The device comprises a tank containing the single dose having an inlet orifice for compressed gas, and an outlet orifice. The device further comprises a manually actuated gas pump having a gas supply communicating with the inlet orifice of the tank via an intermediate channel. The intermediate channel has a length of narrowed section that is closed in a sealed manner by a plug which is held in the narrowed section so that when the pressure of the gas supplied by the pump reaches a predetermined threshold, the plug is expelled towards the tank to open the intermediate channel. The device includes an abutment element to limit the displacement of the plug towards the outlet orifice of the tank of substance. The abutment element is constructed to guarantee that the compressed air can continue to floe through the outlet orifice when the plug is in its abutment position.
