Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses related to management of a computing device usage profile are described. The usage profile can be a usage profile of a computing device. Characteristics of workloads executed by a computing device can be monitored to determine whether performance of the computing device can be optimized by execution of an updated usage profile. Responsive to a determination that the performance of the computing device can be improved by execution of an updated usage profile, the updated usage profile can be received by the computing device and executed thereon.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to image based media type selection are described. Memory systems can include multiple types of memory media. Data can be written in a type of memory media based on one or more settings applied to the data. A setting can be determined based on input received by a logic within the memory system. In an example, a method can include receiving, at logic within a memory system that comprising a plurality of memory media types, data from an image sensor coupled to the logic of the memory system, receiving input from a host, identifying one or more attributes of the data, analyzing the received input to determine an setting, generating the setting based on the analyzed input, and writing the data to a first memory media type of the plurality of memory media types based on the generated setting.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory machine-readable media for image location based on a perceived interest are described. Apparatuses can include a display, a memory device, and a controller. In an example, the controller can assign a perceived interest and sort images based in part on the perceived interest. In another example, a method can include the assigning, by a controller coupled to a memory device, a perceived interest of an image of a plurality of images, wherein the perceived interest is assigned based in part on a period of time the image is visible on a display coupled to the memory device, selecting the image from an initial viewing location responsive to the assigned perceived interest; and transferring the image to a different viewing location, wherein the initial viewing location and the different viewing location are visible on the display.

For instance, selection of a portion of data can be based on the quality of the data received. In an example, a method can include receiving, by a memory system of a mobile device that comprises a plurality of memory media types, data from the assigned image sensor of a plurality of image sensors of the mobile device; and selecting a portion of data from the received data based on one or more characteristics of the data that indicate a quality of an image or images represented by the portion of data.

Apparatuses can include a display, a memory device, and a controller. In an example, the controller can determine an active portion of the display and in response, illuminate the active portion while an inactive portion of the display remains unilluminated. In another example, a method can include the controller receiving a request to illuminate a portion of the display, and in response, illuminating the portion of the display while a remaining portion of the display remains unilluminated. The request can be received via a touchscreen display of a mobile device in an example.

Abstract: Some embodiments include apparatuses and methods using a first memory area and a second memory area included a memory device, and using control circuitry included in the memory device to communicate with a memory controller. The memory controller includes an error correction engine. The control circuitry of the memory device is configured to retrieve the first information from the first memory area and store in the first information after the error correction engine performs an error detection operation on the first information. The control circuitry is configured to retrieve second information from the first memory area and store the second information in the second memory area without an additional error detection operation performed on the second information if a result from the error detection operation performed by the error correction engine on the first information meets a threshold condition.
