    摘要: A method and apparatus for registering a remote network device with a control device is disclosed. In one embodiment, a registration information message is received by a bridge device from an unregistered remote network device using a first communication protocol. Identification information within the registration information message is stored in a record in a memory. A second registration information message is transmitted to the control device using the second communication protocol, the second registration information message comprising at least some of the identification information. In response, an acknowledgement message is received from the control device, the acknowledgement message comprising an identification code. When subsequent messages are received by the bridge device addressed to the remote network device using the identification code, the bridge re-transmits these messages to the remote network device, addressing it using at least some of the identification information.

    摘要: A mobile wireless device includes an embedded media player; the functionality of the media player has been extended by integrating a third party application with the media player, the third party application supporting an unlimited music subscription service. Hence, the invention is based on the insight that a third party application that can provide access to an unlimited music subscription service, such as the MusicStation media player, can be integrated with an embedded media player in a mobile wireless device. The device then behaves as though the functionality of the media player has been extended, but without the extensive engineering effort needed to re-write the embedded media payer so that it can itself provide access to the unlimited music subscription service.

    摘要: According to one embodiment of the invention, a system for curing a composite material includes an oven having an inner wall defining an inner chamber, an outer wall defining an outer chamber between the inner wall and the outer wall, a hot air distribution manifold disposed within the inner chamber, a cold air distribution manifold disposed within the outer chamber, and an exhaust chimney having a cold air distribution conduit disposed therein coupled to the outer chamber. The system further includes a hot air supply system coupled to the hot air distribution manifold of the oven that is operable to supply hot air to the hot air distribution manifold, a cold air supply system coupled to the cold air distribution manifold and the cold air distribution conduit that is operable to supply cold air to them, and a plurality of hot air exhaust passages formed in the inner wall of the oven. The hot air exhaust passages are adapted to transport hot air within the inner chamber to the outer chamber.

    摘要: An anchor structure for exerting a pulling force against a vehicle structural member for straightening operations utilizes a lever arm including a bar member for positioning in an upright relationship and a base member affixed thereto. The bar member has an upper end portion, an intermediate portion and a bottom end portion and is of a rigid material to resist the bending forces applied thereto. The base member is affixed to the bottom end portion and extends laterally therefrom and permits the bar member to rock forwardly and rearwardly on a supportive surface. A lower attachment hook is secured to the lever arm generally at the bottom end portion for connection to a first anchor chain extending away from the lever arm in a direction opposite to a desired direction of pull and prevents movement of the base member outwardly of the first anchor chain. An upper attachment hook is secured to the lever arm at the intermediate portion for connection to a pulling chain extending away from the lever arm in a desired direction of pull whereby a pulling force is exerted on the lever arm to swing the upper end portion toward the pulling chain. The upper end portion is engaged with a vehicle structural member and exerts a pulling force thereon to either anchor a vehicle or to straighten bent vehicle structural members depending upon the extent of pulling force applied.

    摘要: In contrast to the traditional approach of defining relationships between data collections using complex groups of cross-reference database tables, the present invention makes use of generic sets to represent relationships between complex collections of interrelated data. The complexity of a database schema can be greatly reduced by representing the relationships between data items as these data sets (sets of data items). These sets of data items may be defined in one or more database tables in a database. This approach provides for much simplified database data management and control. It enables the easy pre- or re-calculation of sets and provides for the easy creation of hierarchical meta-data trees, which are ideal for the targeted delivery of data to the user.
