Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to sidelink (SL) transmission enhancement. A first device determines a channel occupancy time (COT) to be shared by the first device and at least one second device for transmissions on a shared radio frequency band; selects a first time slot during the COT for a transmission; and performs the transmission in the first time slot by extending the transmission to a first guard period of the first time slot or to a second guard period of a second time slot prior to the first time slot during the COT. By doing so, a channel access procedure requiring a smaller time gap between transmissions can be selected and performed, which can thus improve the flexibility of channel access procedures for SL transmission in the shared frequency band.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a short control signaling transmission for sidelink communication in an unlicensed spectrum. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, if a control signaling is to be transmitted to a second device via a short control signaling transmission, a first device determines whether the short control signaling transmission is available based on at least information related to a counter, the counter being used for counting occasions within a period for the short control signaling transmission at a sidelink interface. If the short control signaling transmission is available, the first device transmits the control signaling to the second device on a first resource configured for the short control signaling transmission. In this way, constraints for the usage of the short control signaling transmission can be satisfied, and a reliable transmission of sidelink control signaling in the unlicensed spectrum can be achieved.

Abstract: This disclosure presents solutions for allowing a transmitter of multicast broadcast services (MBS) to select a mapping algorithm for mapping synchronization signal block (SSB) beams to slots with PDCCH monitoring occasions (MOs) of a multicast control channel (MCCH) window duration. The transmitter can be a communication node. In some example embodiments, the transmitter can receive assistance information from one or more UEs and utilize that assistance information to determining the mapping algorithm to utilize. The transmitter can determine whether across MCCH window duration mapping is enabled or disabled. The transmitter can determine the pattern of repetition of SSB beams when there are more slots with PDCCH MOs in the MCCH window duration than there are SSB beams in a set of SSB beams where each SSB beam has at least one UE interested at MBS. The SSB beam mapping can be communicated to MBS receivers, allowing them to optimize operations by listening to their respective appropriate monitoring occasions.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for search space configuration for multicast traffic. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first device determines, from a group of search space sets configured to the first device, at least one search space set for monitoring multicast traffic from a second device, based on at least one of a priority of the multicast traffic and respective types of the search space sets. The first device monitors the multicast traffic from the second device in the at least one search space set. The solution enables multicast traffic to be monitored in a common search space set, a user-specific search space set or a multicast search space set in different scenarios.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to downlink control and data channel configuration. A method comprises: determining, at a first device, a transmission scheme of control information for a second device based on at least one multicast and broadcast service related criterion, the control information related to scheduling multicast service traffic to the second device; transmitting, to the second device, configuration information for causing the second device to obtain the control information; and transmitting, to the second device and based on the determined transmission scheme, the control information on a control channel between the first device and the second device. In this way, the correlation between the scheduling mechanism of multicast traffic on the downlink data channel and the transmission mechanism of control information on the downlink control channel can be decoupled, resulting in a flexible and dynamic downlink channel configuration and an increased radio resource efficiency.
