Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE), which comprises a receiver, which in operation, receives power saving signals, PoSS, from a serving base station on which the UE is camping, processing circuitry, which, in operation, monitors the reception of PoSS to determine a UE behavior regarding processing of a physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, wherein the PoSS comprises a behavior indication indicating for the UE to follow a first behavior or a second behavior, and wherein the PoSS further comprises a configuration indication indicating at least one configuration parameter associated with the first or second behavior, and wherein the processing circuitry, in operation, determines to perform PDCCH monitoring in case the first behavior is indicated and to skip PDCCH monitoring in case the second behavior is indicated, and accordingly applies the at least one configuration parameter.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transceiver device and scheduling device, and communication methods for transceiver device and scheduling device. The transceiver, in operation, performs the transmission on the frequency range in compliance with the slot format.

Abstract: When a plurality of the subcarrier spacing values are applied, a reference signal is generated by using a sequence having a sequence length corresponding to a first ratio of a first subcarrier spacing set for transmission data to the maximum settable subcarrier spacing. The sequence of the reference signal is mapped to a frequency resource at mapping intervals in accordance with a second ratio which is the reciprocal of the first ratio, and the transmission data and the reference signal are transmitted.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal and respective operation method. The mobile terminal comprises circuitry, which in operation monitors PDCCH candidates of a first search space set located in a designated first frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges, and receives a DCI transmitted in the first search space set of the designated first frequency range. The received DCI includes an indication whether or not the mobile terminal is to skip monitoring some specific or all PDCCH candidates in at least one second search space set associated with at least one second frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges. And only if the indication in the received DCI does not indicate to skip monitoring the specific or all PDCCH candidates, the circuitry additionally monitors the specific or all PDCCH candidates associated with the at least one second frequency range for receiving a DCI thereon.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method and a reception method. The transmission device comprises a circuitry which, in operation, maps data and/or a reference signal onto a resource unit of a communication system. The resource unit includes subcarriers of a first numerology and subcarriers of a second numerology, each of the subcarriers being orthogonal to the other subcarriers of the same numerology, wherein the first numerology differs from the second numerology at least by a larger subcarrier spacing, and the subcarriers of the first and the second numerologies are frequency-multiplexed on a subcarrier basis. The transmission device further comprises a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the mapped data and/or reference signal in the resource unit, including subcarriers of the first and/or of the second numerology, and also transmits an indication of the mapping for the resource unit, which comprises references to subcarriers from the subcarriers of the first and/or the second numerology, where: for the first numerology, all subcarriers of the resource unit can be referenced, and for the second numerology, only inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers thereof can be referenced, each of the inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers being centrally aligned with a subcarrier of the first numerology.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) that comprises a processor that operates a monitoring function that involves monitoring of a downlink control channel of an unlicensed radio cell based on one of a plurality of groups of search space sets (SSS). The unlicensed radio cell operates in an unlicensed spectrum and is controlled by a base station that is in communication with the user equipment. Further, one of the plurality of groups of SSSs is configured to be a default group of SSSs. The processor determines one group of the plurality of SSS groups for performing the monitoring function, depending on the downlink control channel. The monitoring function is not performed during a non-monitoring time period. The processor determines to perform the monitoring function based on the default group of SSSs, when performing the monitoring function subsequent to the non-monitoring time period.
