    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from another UE, a coordination message that includes resource information (e.g., a preference status) for communication resources. The UE receiving the coordination message may determine a status of one or more resources based on the resource information, an intended recipient of the coordination message (e.g., based on a destination identifier of the coordination message), or a communication connection associated with the one or more resources. The status may indicate that a respective resource of the one or more resources is available, reserved, preferred, or non-preferred, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the one or more resources may be for a sidelink connection or a unicast connection. The receiving UE may utilize the determined status to select one or more resources for a sidelink transmission.

    Abstract: A transmitting user equipment (UE) may perform resource hopping for a periodic sidelink resource reservation by scheduling a plurality of periodic sidelink resources with a first periodicity, the plurality of periodic sidelink resources being shifted at a first offset in a frequency domain. The transmitting UE may reduce persistent collisions of periodic or semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) reservation of the sidelink resources with another UE. The transmitting UE may transmit, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) indicating the first offset and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI. The receiving UE may receive, from the transmitting UE, the SCI and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a buffer status report associated with a one-to-many sidelink communication. The UE may receive, from the base station, one or more downlink control information (DCI) messages scheduling one or more sidelink communications, associated with one or more spatial transmission directions, for the one-to-many sidelink communication, wherein the one or more DCI messages allocate resources for each of the one or more spatial transmission directions. The UE may transmit, using the resources and in the one or more spatial transmission directions, the one or more sidelink communications for the one-to-many sidelink communication.     Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a wireless device to perform an SL ranging based on a single-sided PRS transmission. In one aspect, a first wireless device transmits one or more reference signals to at least one RIS associated with a second wireless device. The first wireless device receives one or more reflected reference signals reflected from the at least one RIS. The first wireless device calculates a signal RTT based on the one or more reference signals and the one or more reflected reference signals. In another aspect, a second wireless device transmits, to a first wireless device, information indicating a time, a duration, or a periodicity in which at least one RIS associated with the second wireless device is to be activated. The second wireless device activate the at least one RIS based on the information.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for on demand assistance for sidelink communication. The apparatus receives, from a base station, an AN configuration for one or more ANs associated with the base station. The apparatus transmits, to the base station, an AR to request assistance with communication with a second UE from at least one AN associated with the base station. The apparatus receives, from the base station, a grant to schedule sidelink transmission with the second UE. The sidelink transmission with the second UE is assisted by at least one AN of the one or more ANs associated with the base station. The apparatus communicates via sidelink communication with the second UE, via the at least one AN, using allocated resources of the grant from the base station.
