摘要： The present invention discloses a voucher-based gaming transaction system, wherein vouchers are used for game credits rather than any form of coins or bills. Further disclosed are gaming machines that have the ability to fully transact using vouchers, including the ability to read, write, encrypt, and decrypt vouchers and create unique transaction IDs for each transaction (per voucher). The vouchers are independent of any type of player tracking or player accounts, and are operationally independent of each other. The system further includes a backend computer with a database which uses the unique transaction IDs for storing data associated with each transaction, primarily value and time of issuance information.

摘要： The specification discloses a multi-wheel game-of-chance having at least two groups of spinning wheels, wherein each group includes at least two concentric spinning wheels having a viewable surface face thereon. A plurality of indicia are positioned on the peripheral of the viewable surface face of each wheel such that all indicia on each wheel is viewable to the user. Bet areas are positioned at various locations around at least a portion of each group of wheels; along a line joining the center of any two groups of wheels; and/or a junction between various radially positioned lines extending from the center of two or more groups of wheels. Each bet area represents a possible payline with various pay ratios depending on the probability of various predetermined combinations. For instance, a one-group combination payline has the lowest pay ratio; a two-group payline requires the combination from two groups of wheels and thus, has a higher pay ratio than a one-group payline; and as additional group combination paylines are added, the higher the pay ratio can become.

All such requests for credit are limited to a preset amount, so that when a player uses an EFT transfer to obtain playing credit, that credit will be limited to no more than a specified amount. In practice, the player inserts his or her ATM card (debit card), keys in a PIN number, requests playing credit, and receives the preset amount of credit which can be converted to plays on the gaming machine.

摘要： The present specification discloses a flexible, adapable voucher gaming system having a LAN interconnecting a cashier terminal, a central voucher-record database server, one or more logical gaming controllers, and a plurality of player terminals in order to play games of chance at each player terminal. The system provides voucher printers at the cashier terminal and preferably at the player terminals as well. The vouchers include unique bar codes printed on the vouchers, and the bar codes are readable by scanners at the cashier terminal and at the player terminals. The player terminals are preferably adapted to provide the player with the option of receiving at least certain amounts of cash rather than a voucher, but to also ensure that at least a voucher is provided to the player in the event that the player terminal fails to dispense cash when earned by the player and payable to the player under the game rules at the player terminal.

摘要： A slot machine having multiple spinning reels coaxially mounted in a frame for relative rotation. All machine movements are electrically activated by pulling a starting handle. The handle operates an electric switch which, in turn, initiates sequencing of the machine by a processor.The reel and sprocket are mounted so that relative rotational movements between them in a first rotational direction are prevented when the two are in a predetermined angular orientation. However, relative rotational movement between the reel and sprocket is permitted over a limited arc in the opposite rotational direction. A spring interposed between them permits a slight overtravel of the reel beyond the arrest position of the sprocket, and thereafter returns it to its normal position relative to the sprocket. To prevent undesirable oscillations, a friction clutch is interposed between the reel and the sprocket.The friction clutch is also designed to isolate the reel from abrasive contact with the sprocket, and to permit expulsion of abrasive contaminants between them. The clutch is of larger diameter than the hub faces of the reel and sprocket and is interposed therebetween, and has a plurality of slots extending radially from an inner portion between the hub faces and an outer area beyond the hub faces. Specially constructed wheel bearings also minimize accumulation of contaminants. Pivoting and nonpivoting solenoids are constructed so that contaminants settling therein do not impair their response time.
