    Abstract: A display device includes pixels, an image converter which generates a second image by correcting grayscales of a first logo in a first image for the pixels, and a data driver which provides data signals corresponding to the second image to the pixels. The image converter detects the first logo based on value and saturation of the first image, generates first map data corresponding to the first logo, and specifies pixels corresponding to the first logo based on the first map data.

    Abstract: An image compensator includes: a shift path updater for updating a first preliminary shift direction of a fixed image included in an image in a preset first period according a first shift scenario, and updating a second preliminary shift direction of the fixed image in a preset second period according a second shift scenario; a shift direction determiner for correcting the first preliminary shift direction and the second preliminary shift direction respectively to a first target shift direction and a second target shift direction, based on a result obtained by comparing the first preliminary shift direction and the second preliminary shift direction; a first shift controller for performing a first image shift, based on the first target shift direction; and a second shift controller for performing a second image shift, based on the second target shift direction.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device with a display panel and driver. The driver includes a logo compensator to generate a logo map data with respect to a logo area through which the logo image is displayed and compensates for a brightness of the logo area using the logo map data. The logo compensator includes an extractor, a logo calculator, a logo determination unit, and a brightness compensation block. The extractor extracts logo area data. The logo calculator calculates the logo map data with first data corresponding to a first image recognized as the logo image and second data corresponding to a second image recognized as a logo background image. The logo determination unit sets a boundary area and determining whether a first area corresponding to the first image overlaps the boundary area to output determination data. The brightness compensation block compensates for the brightness of the logo area.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a plurality of first pixels connected to a first scan line; a plurality of second pixels connected to a second scan line; and a plurality of third pixels connected to a third scan line, wherein, from a position in a first frame period, an image portion displayed by the first pixels, the second pixels, and the third pixels, which are connected to first data lines, is shifted in a first direction, in a second frame period next to the first frame period, wherein an image portion displayed by the first pixels and the second pixels, which are connected to second data lines, is shifted in the first direction, in the second frame period, wherein an image portion displayed by the third pixels connected to the second data lines is shifted in a direction different from the first direction, in the second frame period.
