Abstract: A display device may include a display panel which displays an image based on image data, a power supply which provides a driving voltage to the display panel through a power line, a current sensor which generates first current data including average, minimum, and maximum sensing currents of a first period based on sensing currents generated by sampling a current flowing through the power line at a sampling frequency, generates second current data including average, minimum, and maximum sensing currents of a second period less than the first period based on the sensing currents, and includes a first controller controlling the image data or the power supply based on the second current data, and a timing controller which communicates with the current sensor, and includes a second controller controlling the image data or the power supply based on the first and second current data.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a pixel which receives a driving voltage through a first voltage line, a voltage generator which provides the driving voltage which has a first voltage level to the first voltage line and determines a voltage level of the driving voltage based on a voltage control signal, a current sensor which senses a current level of the first voltage line and outputs a current signal corresponding to the sensed current level, and an overcurrent controller which outputs the voltage control signal which changes the voltage level of the driving voltage when a difference value between present and previous current levels of the current signal is a reference value or greater. The voltage level of the driving voltage changes to a second voltage level lower than the first voltage level when the difference value is the reference value or greater.

Abstract: A display apparatus may count a number of frames and adjust a cycle of clock training operations depending on a frame count number in a data-sensing driver to prevent or reduce unnecessary clock training operations. The data-sensing driver may perform more sensing operations by increasing the number of sensing operations and reducing the number of clock training operations. As a result, the data-sensing driver can quickly sense deterioration of a display panel of the display apparatus, and prevent or reduce a momentary afterimage, thereby improving a display quality.
